1. Movieverse. What if the Allspark's presence on earth affected the planet more than anyone realized? In this bunny, Cybertron was originally a planet much like earth except it was unable to sustain life. The allspark transformed that planet, and now it is changing earth. After so long a lot of the earth's minerals have already changed and the changes are irreversible as the planet slowly becomes another Cybertron. It does not matter that the allspark is now gone, once started it cannot be stopped until the process is complete. How will the humans react once they realize this? How will it affect them? They don't know, because Cybertron originally had no life on it's surface until the allspark created such life. What about the transformers, how do they react?
Let it be noted that I have only watched the movies and have not read any of the comics and such related to said movies, so I have no clue if I'm going against any canon in those.

Date: 2009-11-05 04:09 pm (UTC)Would you mind if I use your idea in a Bee/Optimus story I'm writing with a friend? I think it might actualy fit the verse, however it might take some time before it's posted.

Date: 2009-11-05 07:02 pm (UTC)Sam/Cade? I love those, and Sam/Bee too... I'll need to check those out when I'm not writing. I have an Optimus/Sam story to write, Megs/Optimus crack!fic to write, a different Will/Sam story, and people keep asking for sequels to my oneshots...add all that on top of college and work and I have a pretty full schedule. So I know exactly what you mean about so much to do and so little time. Gonna go write now, so take care!

Date: 2009-11-06 07:26 pm (UTC)I am now pretty sure that it will appear somewhere in my NaNoWriMo project. I just have to figure out if my mad scientist character will be responsible for finding the changes or for the futile attempt to stop it.

Date: 2009-11-07 09:41 pm (UTC)There are simple so many ways this bunny could be used! I can't really write stories that are longer than one-shots, but I figure I would put my 2 cents in :).

Date: 2009-11-08 08:13 am (UTC)Anyways, the idea of natural selection and humans being affected occurred to me too. Scenarios where some humans couldn't live through the mutations their bodies had started to take on over the generations. Plant life is more connected to the earth that the allspark is greatly affecting, so what would happen if plants started changing too fast for most of the inhabitants of earth to adapt? Considering we need them to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen through photosynthesis, we'd be screwed. (That thought always made me wonder how humans could possibly be on Cybertron in some fics, are there even plants there? Or an atmosphere that doesn't contain elements too harmful to us that would really affect the transformers?)
Sorry, I ramble when I'm tired (it's 2 in the morning right now...). I really do hope someone is able to write a fic revolving around this idea, but I love that others are finding ways of incoporating it into their fics. Thanks for putting your two cents in! Take care!

Date: 2009-11-08 10:53 am (UTC)It would be interesting to see as how humans do study the Earth, to be surprised and shocked to discover that their planet has been going through a gradual change since the day that the All Spark first touched the planet.

Date: 2009-11-08 05:26 pm (UTC)Yeah, I think it would be interesting as well. Would humans blame the Transformers for something that had been happening since 10,000 BC? To realize they (the humans) don't know their home planet as well as they had thought, it would be mind boggling. *sigh* The ideas keep forming...
