Fake ads featuring Transformers or geared toward what is imagined to be the Transformer's market. For example, billboard ads for specific brands of oil, cosmotrons, mods & upgrades, energon, weapons, detailing services, etc. Do they have spokesmodels? A lot of copy, with few images, or a lot of images and a little copy? Do the ads rely on an apparent attraction to certain colors or neon combinations? Do they have political campaign ads? Do they believe 'sex sells'? Do their ads look anything like commercials shown for cars and beer during football games?
(I'm guessing with enough skill and 'stock footage' this could even be slide show or video. But I was originally imagining fan art with ad-like layout.)

Date: 2009-12-05 03:51 pm (UTC)I'd imagine that they do have ads for specific things like you said. I also think you're onto something with specific colour attraction (vaguely links in with some little idea I have regarding why some have different coloured optics) in a way that's more then just some colours (alone or together) just seem appealing.
Either way, when I'm less tired I'm going to have a good think about this, since I have a (currently rather basic) 3D Cybertronian city and giving it a bit of life is something I plan to do eventually.
Despite the fact I already have loads of other stuff to dono subject

Noooooooo! **Swats away the bunnies**
