Sam is deprived of his memories regarding Autobots.
He works in some kind of coffe shop or something and leads a happy life having no recolection of his past doings.

One day, one of his customers starts talking with him, enquiring about him (One of the bot's holo) Sam feels he knows the guy but can't recolect him.

Autobots try to regain Sam against US gov. They want to take him from earth to the other suitable plannet they found because either Earth is going whacky and eventualy broken (Watched 2012 yesterday XD) or they don't like how the gov is trating them.

Enter a scenario with completely oblivious guy being taken to the Giant Robot base. Only everyone seems to know him. He is freaked out, scared, amazed, ha can't believe it.

I saw this as either a OP/Sam or Bee/Sam fic with the bot trying to bring Sam's memory back and still loving Sam, but I'm biased so feel free to make it any pairing you want.

I had a bunny very similar to this, only in mine, Sam was kidnapped by the human government, given a new alias, and brainwashed to forget his past life as Sam Witwicky.

And it was technically a dream I had. I woke up just as Bumblebee found his location.
