the asterisk tags have been removed from the community. please don't put them back.
there seems to be (at least with me, so at least one other member is likely) on what some of these tags we have could mean/be used for. it seems like a bit of clarification is in order.
The Universe Tags: By Universe, we mean the continuity your bunny is from, not the toy line. These include G1, G2, Transformers Animated, the 2007/2009 Movies, Marvel Comics, IDW Comics, Dreamweave Comics, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Beast Wars, Beast Machines. (And i'm probably forgetting at least one, but you get the idea) Bunnies are not required to have this tag, as many bunnies could work for any 'verse but if you've specified a specific Universe in your post, include the appropriate Universe tag.
Character Tags: This category is honestly pretty straight forward. If your bunny includes a certain Canon Character (Prowl, Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Daniel Whitwicky), include the appropriate tag. You'll see that most characters have them already, but if it's missing drop us a line and we'll add it.
Tags for Bunnies Inspired By Other Things: This is where it gets dicey. what's the difference between a crossover and movie-inspired? not much sometimes. Rnything that includes characters from a different continuity (either another TF Universe or another fandom entirely) is obviously crossover. However, bunnies that clone the plot and dialogue of a story completely could also be considered crossover (Pride and Prejudice With Zombies is clever, and definitely a crossover). If your bunny meets either of those two conditions, use the crossover tag. if not, use the movie and literature inspired tag.
Finally, please don't make your own tags. We have a really lovely list, which covers just about every need you could have. (Religion having it's own tag is good, but we don't need tags for every single form of religion on the planet, for example) Should you go through the entire list and realize there isn't a tag for your need, that's fine--message one of the mods and we'll add it for you. This way, the list stays nice and tidy and we can all figure out exactly what we're looking at and find what we're looking for.

Date: 2010-04-16 03:49 pm (UTC)Would it be possible to add some poster tags to the posts so that people are more easily able to locate older posts by said person?
