I already posted this on tfanonkink, but this one I think, fits here as well..

Cybertronians might have many different frames, but their sparks can normally be placed in one of four categories:

1) Aleph Xi - The Neutral Spark - These Sparks are unable to create newsparks, either by kindling or by carrying.
65% of the Population of Cybertron have Aleph Xi Sparks.

2) Aleph Psi - The Nurturing Spark - The Spark can support a Newspark kindled by an Aleph Tau Spark
30% of the Population have Aleph Psi Sparks

3) Aleph Tau - The Kindling Spark - The Spark can kindle a Newspark in the Sparkchamber of an Aleph Psi Spark
5% of all Cybertronians have Aleph Tau Sparks

4) Aleph Omicron - A strange and very rarly appearing combination of Aleph Psi and Aleph Tau Spark, this Spark can kindle and carry without the help of another spark.
There are, so far, only three Mechs known to have Aleph Omicron Sparks (one of them is Soundwave)

Now there is one last category of Spark, a category that happen so rarly that is is mythical: The Aleph Sigma Spark, the Spark that can procreate with all other Sparks, a Spark that can kindle newsparks in those that normally can't carry.

The last Aleph Sigma Mech died in an accident 7 million years ago.

When the Elite Guard came to Earth, Ratchet requests the use of their Medbay, which is better stocked and equipped than what he has. After Optimus death and rebirth he'd noted some irregularities in his Spark and wishes to recheck those. The Irregularieties were Optimus' Spark changing into an Aleph Sigma Spark (the one condition for a Aleph Sigma Spark is the Rebirth of the Mech/Femme).

Everything comes to a screeching halt when they discover that Optimus has an Aleph Sigma Spark. There are certain Laws and Traditions that have to be abided and Optimus simply can't stay on Earth any longer.

Optimus has to
- be presented to the Autobot High Council
- be divested of his normal Chestplate and Sparkcovering, both which are replaced by transparent Replacements so that anyone, anytime can see his Spark
- be ritually tattooed with Glyphs marking him as Aleph Sigma, declaring him a treasure to all Cybertronians and Sacrosanct from any form of violence.
- give up all his weapons and battlemods, for a Aleph Sigma is not allowed to battle
- take lessons in the Great Primus Temple in Simfur

Aleph Sigma Sparks are seen as Primus greatest Gift to Cybertron, for they can give Newsparks to those Mechs/Femmes that normally can't have ones. There is a threaty, signed in the early days of the great war that both sides would do nothing that could harm an Aleph Sigma Spark, should one appear, also both sides are allowed to petition the Mech/Femme with the Aleph Sigma Spark for Newsparks without the other side interferring. Aleph Sigma Mech/Femmes are declared above and beyond the war and the ultimate neutral being.

The Cybertronians are happy about the apperance of a new Aleph Sigma Mech, Optimus on the other side, isn't. Already he's swamped with petitions from hopefull mechs and femmes, he's badgerd by Council mechs and Primus priests, there is no quiet minute in his new day's schedule and everyone is starring at his, now always visible, spark!

Mechs & Femmes who might petition for a Newspark:

Megatron - Aleph Tau Spark (Never trusted any Aleph Psi Spark not to run off with his heir)
Red Alert - Aleph Psi Spark (Never found a fitting Aleph Tau Spark)
Ultra Magnus - Aleph Psi Spark (Never found a fitting Aleph Tau Spark)
Skywarp - Aleph Psi Spark (Too scared to even ask what kind of spark another Bot might have)
Rodimus Prime - Aleph Xi Spark
Alpha Trion - Aleph Xi Spark
Longarm/Shockwave - Aleph Xi Spark
Cyclonus - Aleph Xi Spark
Glyph - Aleph Xi Spark
Wheeljack - Aleph Xi Spark

Poor poor Optimus...I just can see Megatron kidnapping him. Or Ultra Magnus doing his best of woo him.

Petitions, hmm? I can see the Council/Autobot command 'helping' filter through all the requests and putting through only those from mechs/femmes they feel are worthy...and Optimus raising hell when he finds out. After all, all he has to do is reject any and all petitions from said manipulators, and make the scheme known to the public along with his disapproval - that would probably kill their ambitions pretty quick. If said mechs weren't just killed outright by a PO'd mob, heh.

...and on a sadder note, I'd bet there's a law that an Aleph Sigma is forbidden to take a bondmate, for fear that their ability to grant newsparks to all other types would be lost to the race as a whole...Selfish bastids, but then that's TFA for you. Show 'em up, Optimus!
