Two post within two weeks of joining this community. My corruption really is complete.


1. G1 - Megatron is being unusually irate due to several consecutive failed plans, and Soundwave, fearing that his cassettes might end up as easy scapegoats, must find someone to keep them out of the tyrant's way while he himself is on a mission. Who's the lucky glitch to be appointed as the keeper/sparkling sitter? How exactly does Soundwave convince them to do it?


2. TFA (possibly AU) - Prowl wasn't sparked an Autobot. He actually hails from a planet that managed to remain neutral through the war. Also, when he left to join the Autobots he promised to come back to visit his friends and family. A promise which is badly overdue, and some people are tired of waiting...


3. TFA - "Prowl, are you serious?"

"Optimus, do you recall me ever making jokes? And while I must admit that if I was hearing this idea from someone else, I'd most likely find it outrageous, but it does make sense once you process it for a moment. Bumblebee has skills and determination that would make him a great asset for the Elite Guard, but he is nowhere near ready for everything that position entails. What he lacks is focus and tactical thinking, but those only come with time and experience. This would give him the opportunity to learn those abilities while honing the ones he already has; speed, reflexes and firepower."

"Hmm... it still sounds pretty unorthodox, but I see your point. If you're sure..."

"Trust me, ninja training is exactly what Bumblebee needs right now."


4. TFA - Genderbender AU. Optimus, Sentinel, Elita-1. Two mechs and a femme, BFFs all through their Academy days. Okay... what if Optimus had been a femme? (I'll leave Elita-1's gender to the writer.)

4.a - Academy days. How would things have been different back then? If Elita-1 was a mech, would there have been a rivalry between him and Sentinel over Optimus? Or maybe the guys were stung at being bested by a femme at every turn. Alternately, if Elita-1 was a femme, Sentinel probably would have heard plenty of jokes about his "harem". Or maybe he saw himself as a big brother for the girls.

4.b - And now? Would things we saw in the series be any different if Optimus was a femme? Maybe she would develop a deeper relationship with Sari, being just about the only female role model in her life. Does anyone else on the team treat her any differently? Is Black Arachnia still after her? Or would history have taken a completely different turn somewhere? Maybe Sentinel never got her discharged from the Academy and therefore the Autobots never landed on Earth. How would life be on Cybertron?

The G1 bunny sounds interesting, but somehow I can't imagine any of the Decepticons taking care of the sparklings.
I can imagine that Soundwave blackmails them to do it, but afterwards? Think of Starscream taking care of them... *shudders* the poor sparklings.

What? Are you trying to offline poor Thundercracker? All of Soundwave's sparklings plus those two??? That's too much for every nanny! Screamer and Warp alone come close to a nuclear catastrophe! XD

I have to say, I laughed at number 3. In my head, the Dojo doesn't have a real, defined path to it (why else would Lockdown have to lead others to attack it?) but instead has all these clues that point you towards it instead (doubling back once or twice). Prowl tells Bumblebee all the clues on how to get there. For some reason Jazz was leading them to the Dojo and Bumblebee is really confused because it's just too close to the story. The Prowl-like voice keeps saying that it's because Bumblebee would be the only one that would need an escape if they ever got home.
I like you're version better. It's a really interesting viewpoint and really drives in that Bumblebee is really young.
