Crossover Thoughts

tf_bunny_farmBecause I have recently been reading a lot of Sailor Moon fanfic, I can't help but wish for a good crossover or two (besides Magical!Bots, which is a great series). So I present a couple of bunnies with that in mind:
1 -G1:
In an attempt to get energon without interference from the Autobots, Megatron starts making raids in areas of the world further away from North America. He made a bad choice however when he decided to strike in Japan, without giving any consideration to Japan's famous protectors - the Sailor Senshi. Now he has received an offer from a mysterious entity - this unknown entity will give him power, if he with eradicate the Senshi once and for all.
The Autobots find themselves having to work with this team of super-powered teenage girls to deal with the issue of a super-powered Megatron (well, even more super-powered than normal).
Details: Megatron's mysterious ally is [Sailor] Chaos. Chaos can be taken as an aspect of Unicron if you wish, or conversely, Unicron is an aspect of Chaos.
I would love to see mention of Pluto knowing Vector Prime, even if it is only a passing mention.
I'd also love to see one of the Senshi asking if there is a Sailor Cybertron, and if you wish to as far as bring one in... well I have thought it over, and the most logical Sailor Cybertron? Is Optimus Prime. No, he doesn't turn into a femme in some sort of magic transformation (after all, the one with power similar to that of a Senshi, who represents Earth is Mamoru Chiba - Tuxedo Kamen aka Prince Endyimon, master of the Golden Crystal), but Prima, the first Prime, was Primus's Chosen, so that would logically make him the first Sailor Cybertron. The role as such would then, logically be passed down with the Matrix of Leadership (which could be considered in similar light as Usagi's Silver Crystal), with the potential to be Cybertron's Senshi being just another of the requirements the Matrix has in accepting a new Bearer.
2 - Movieverse:
Mamoru Chiba, japanese transfer student studying for his degree at Princeton University, is at the uni library one day, when it gets attacked by a robot chasing a freshman student. With his girlfriend and teamates back in Japan, he cannot help but take the forefront of this battle as Tuxedo Kamen... and as a result, finds himself involved in far more than he expected, including having to keep himself from throttling Leo for his pervy comments about the Senshi, and Simmons for his snide quips about "girls in short skirts" (after all, one of those Senshi is his girlfriend, and the rest are good friends).
(Translation, Mamoru is in the library when Sam, Leo and Mikaela are being chased by Alice. It is canon in SM that Mamoru goes to study in America. Include the Senshi at will in this idea.)

3 - Movieverse: [Possible followup to 2] The spirits of the Ancient Primes, in their wisdom, have decided that there needs to be a Senshi designated for the Cybertronians, and since the Autobot/Decepticon war has been brought to an inhabited world with full Senshi representation, maybe it would be best to designate a human as Sailor Cybertron.
They chose Sam Witwicky.
(All the things Sam goes through in RotF? For the same reasons he gets named as Prime in many fanfics, could also qualify him as a human Sailor Cybertron.)

BTW, I did write two Sailor Moon/Transformers crossovers, but... I wrote them in french. I could always translate them, but since I'm pretty busy with school work, I'm afraid it'll take a while.

Date: 2011-01-19 07:38 pm (UTC)On the issue of magic, if it's a version of Earth where the Senshi are already established and have years of history in Japan, it may not be quite so unbelievable. On the other hand, Americans - especially ones like Simmons - may have refused to believe these Japanese superheros are really using magic to fight their battles, so it's still a bit of a surprise to find out that yes, Tuxedo Kamen and the Senshi really do use magic.
Well if you do translate them, I'd be very glad to read them.

Date: 2011-01-30 06:12 pm (UTC)And now I have this image of Tuxedo Mask pulling out his golden crystal, Sailor Moon pulling out her silver crystal, and as Optimus is watching and seeing it's not working good enough, he hears a still, small voice in his mind that tells him to pull out and use The Matrix. So all three are being used to fight the evil they're battling. I think that might count as their 'darkest hour'. lol

Date: 2011-02-01 01:46 am (UTC)On the other hand, if she could get in without Unicron noticing (probably needs a distraction from the Autobots and other Senshi) and pulled her most dangerous move - dropping the glaive - she could wipe Unicron out of that particular universe for a while (giving credit to Unicron for his multiversal nature).
That would probably make a great end for a fic.
