Couple of Little Bunnies that turned out longer to write then I intended and somehow read like a prologue of sorts.



1. Ghost in the Machine

History: With Cybertron destroyed and earth as their new home Cybertronians have adapted to their adopted home world.
As an ancient race they are far more evolved then us and as centuries pass they begin to lose the need for a Physical form eventually losing the need for a body at all. Become in effect spark ghosts. As they dwindle into a non state, humanity in it's own growth of evolution soon forgets that there was a such a thing as a Cybertronian. Instead they are now the machine. Developing their weak bodies into Machine hybrids, blurring the line between flesh and metal.  Becoming Cyborgs.

Premise:

War has come to Earth. With their technology and resources, Earth is quite the prize in terms of power. But Humanity has become lazy because of it. Not daring to believe that anyone would attack their planet. But an alien race, bot so much different from ancient Earth culture (think 100 years from our own time readers) have got their sites set on the planet. Their own planet is dying and they will do anything to destroy the inhabitants of Earth and claim the planet as their own. With this race's pure aggression and desperation, Humanity finds itself facing insurmountable odds.  Devastated by  constant attack. Their technology and advanced techo-organic bodies have helped stave off complete  extermination but it is only a matter of time until they are overwhelmed. One particular group surviving against the odds sent out an SOS via the Neural net hoping to gather the remains of humanity to pull together.
But
This cry for help awakens the sleeping Sparks of Cybertron. Since attaining ascension they have lain dormant in a sense of non existent bliss . Beyond all sense and emotion and thought. They had almost all but forgotten who they were. What they were. To the point it is like they are reborn.

The Cybertronians respond to this need for help. Joining their sparks up to an individual of the human resistance via a persons own neural net. Becoming in essence an AI. Together they become a powerful force and use their combined might to fight the alien invasion. The humans using their bodies and the AI as the tactical mind.


2. AU
Wolves are the most prolific species on an unknown planet. Intelligent and sentient. There are many varieties. From the Gill Wolfs of the sea, the Pygmy Wolves of the jungles,  to the most common species of Large Wolf that spread across everywhere. Then there are the winged wolves of the mountains.
These winged wolves live in mountains and are very bird like preferring to den in nests high up rather then in caves. They are also the most delicate of wolfs with lighter bones then average to enable flight and smoother pelts that are easier to tear then any other Wolf species.

In one nest a pack of young Wing Wolves have not eaten for days. Their mother last seen many moons ago. Divided into two separate litters. Silverbolt and Skydive from an earlier litter, still too young to leave their mother but old enough to be weaned and first flighted. And Airraid, Slingshot and Fireflight who were still barely puppies and only just on the weaning process. The oldest pup Silverbolt worried enough he left Skydive in charge of the pups to find their mother. Unfortunately he found her body. She had been attacked and killed, and from the looks of her body she had been attacked by the winged wolves cannibal cousins, the Raptor Wings. (Larger then the average Wing Wolf, more highly aggressive and highly strung with sharper faces and leaner bodies packed with muscles)
Knowing his little brothers would starve otherwise and with the threat of Raptor Wings in the area, Silverbolt knows he has no choice but to move the family.
Without the experience of an older wolf to guide them the brothers find themselves ill equipped to deal with life outside the nest. Silverbolt (And Skydive) far too young to cope with protecting themselves and the younger ones. But then they find a pack, lead by a huge wolf called Optimus Prime...


B. Other things I thought of when this idea sprang to mind
- The Autobots popular with their door wings are actually Large Wolf/Winged Wolf hybrids. Wings as mere small looking appendages with no capability of flight.
- An adorable looking Wheeljack who instead of his fins has unusually thick bright ear tuffs.
