Skywarp and eggs

I'm having a hard time thinking of a story with Skywarp being the one who's carrying eggs. I know I have to have read one somewhere.



I love Starscream being the one who has eggs. Thundercracker, too. But I have this image of Skywarp in my head as the best carrier ever. Let me explain why.

Upon learning that he's carrying eggs, Skywarp looks down with a sense of wonder in his optics. A gentle hand over a flat abdomen. Then panic. Uh, carrying at the bottom of the ocean. Eep! Carrying around Decepticons. Double eep! Decepticons that may or may not have been pranked recently and looking for revenge. He quickly runs through who he feels safe enough around to ask for help. Starscream? No, he's too volatile. Thundercracker? Too much thinking, not enough action. Megatron? Soundwave?

There isn't anyone, so Skywarp gets himself outside the Nemesis because he knows that it isn't safe there and panics some more. Autobots? But he doesn't like Autobots and those twins would probably rip the eggs out of him!

I'd love for Skywarp to run into Prime or at least Prime be the first one to discover that Skywarp's carrying. Because Prime makes for a great mech to hide behind while everyone else goes insane.

Skywarp makes a great carrier. No more teleporting? Okay. Drink the terrible-tasting energon with added minerals? It's good for the eggs, okay. Snuggle with Autobots, because I'm having trouble regulating my temperature? Sure, Skyfire put up with Starscream, I'll go find the shuttle.

OMG I want! That sounds awesome! I would totally hide behind Prime and I wonder if Starscream would get jealous at Skywarp snuggling up against Skyfire!

And when someone scary comes into the Rec Room, Skywarp goes 'who can I hide behind?' I think Jazz would be particularly scary to Skywarp, so the Seeker hides behind Ironhide. Or Grimlock!

Oh, and a scene where Skywarp has trouble getting up from the couch. No amount of wiggling brings him close to the edge. So Sunstreaker hauls him up, steadies him, and walks off.

Another mech to hide behind. Prowl! And Ratchet of course. xD And the other bots getting after Smokescreen for smoking around him.

That sounds awesome, and I hope that someone writes it one day.

There is actually a three-chaptered story on AO3 where Skywarp carries eggs, but, well... to be entirely honest, it's pretty stupid. Don't get me wrong; I really like it, and it's really funny, but it is NOT meant to be a Serious Story. AT ALL.

I'd post the link, but I have to leave in five minutes, and it'll probably take me longer to find the fic. Let me know if you want it.

A serious, if light-hearted, story would be nice, wouldn't it? I'll keep my eyes peeled, but if a fic has eggs in it, it's usually Starscream.
