Guh. Apparently my NaNo groove is utterly broken, and the bunnies decided to visit while I was distracted. So while I'm trying to get back on track, I may as well let some of these little guys roam free.
01. Someone (either Autobot or Decepticon) is a bit of a player and has managed to bed his way through most of both factions. However, the trines (and by this I mean the Seekers, the Coneheads, and the Datsuns) aren't fooled by this mech's stories and decide to subtly let him know they're onto his game... by sprinkling their speech with lyrics from this song into conversations with him. The mech in question is clueless, the trines are having fun, and the mechs who were suckered by him find it hilarious.
Bonus points if at some point Jazz, Blaster, and/or Soundwave abruptly start playing the song.
02. Ties in somewhat with #3 from this post: Seekers tend to form trines because it helps to stabilize their emotional states. In the event that there are no other seekers around, an individual will form an attachment to two other mechs in hopes that it will work. The Autobots are still trying to figure out why the slag Starscream - who is usually so intelligent and content to study the native life or work on experiments - spends so much of his time with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.
03. Lyrical bunny: This may never start
I'll tear us apart
Can I be your enemy?
Losing half a year
Waiting for you here
I'd be your anything.
04. The Autobots win the war. In the aftermath, most of the Decepticons are captured and sentenced to deactivation by the senate; the Decepticons who escaped go into hiding. The Autobots don't approve of the senate's actions but are helpless to stop them unless they do exactly what the Decepticons did originally and revolt.
Bonus for: Decepticons hiding in plain sight due to reformatting and Optimus Prime reiterating that freedom is the right of all sentient beings, 'cons included. Extra points if an unexpected Autobot takes down a member of the senate.

Date: 2008-11-13 06:13 pm (UTC)*dies!* What's hilarious is, one or both the twins were who popped into my mind initially.
And, I've got this mental image of the other 'cons and 'bots trying to not burst into hysterical laughter when Soundwave does that!
02. WANT. NAO. D: I've had a secret desire for Sideswipe/Starscream/Sunstreaker fic for ages, and Autobot!Starscream just makes it that much better.
Oooh, Sides/Screamer/Sunny sounds utterly yummy. Want too!!
03. What song is that from? It sounds familar, but for some reason I just can't place it.
It's from "Memory" by Sugarcult. I have both the album version and the acoustic, but of the two I much prefer the acoustic version. Sometimes I get a real Skyfire/Starscream vibe from it, others it's other cross-faction couples.
04. Have you read the fic Aftermath by Amidoh? It pretty much has almost everything you're looking for here. She's only gotten two chapters out, but it seems to be heading the way of your bunny.
I have been reading that. I love it, and I really wanna see what comes of it. And there's probably a lot of other variations on the theme, too (plus, sometimes fics inspire bunnies for me. That's probably why this one bit me ^^;)

Date: 2008-11-15 08:47 pm (UTC)Hmmm... both are sound theories XD I'm gonna blame Soundwave because I like picking on him.
And all the while, Sides and Sunny are completely clueless about what's going on.
With utterly confused expressions as to why Soundwave is playing 'that Britney Spears song' and why Prowl looks like he's trying not to laugh in their faces.
And I know what you mean with the Skyfire/Starscream vibe - whenever I'm listening to music, I have the tendency to match it with little snippets of plot bouncing around in my head. xD
It's kind of fun, ain't it? I write best when I have iTunes or WinAmp going for some reason. I've got "Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat playing right now as I'm typing on a story.
My brain keeps snatching the fic and running away with it and a million different directions, so I practically squeal with glee whenever I see that it's been updated.
Did you see the recent update?! Oh my Primus, I wanted to reach through the screen and start shaking mechs, I'm serious!
Also, your second bunny here (along with the third one from that other post of yours) has been gnawing at me ever since I've read it.
*laughing* Actually, remember me saying that I was listening to music and typing right now? Guess what I'm writing.
They won't leave me alone either, and I caved.
