20 Bunnies

1. Optimus:*hears explosion* "Someone go see what Wheeljack blew up this time."
Wheeljack: "But... I'm right here, Optimus."
Optimus: *stares* "Then who...?"
*elsewhere in Ark*
Perceptor: *smiles at multicolored cloud drifting over remains of his experiment* "Fascinating."

2. Perceptor and Shockwave were friends once, before the war.

3. Perceptor was one of the very first mechs created, though most believe he is much, much younger.

4. Crossover with CSI. The grave shift CSIs get a new 'member'. However, no one else knows but everyone is wondering why members of the grave shift have named their new CSU truck Perceptor. Inspired by SBX's Comfort Calling Late fic.

5. Perceptor from the Mirrorverse finds a way to travel to alternate realities (specifically, G1 canon). While there, he incapacitates the Perceptor of this reality and quietly takes his place. It's not until weeks later that anyone realizes something is wrong.

6. "I will not steal the credit, but I will take the blame."

7. Perceptor, as his name suggests, can see many things. Even things that are invisible to others.

8. Brawn is left alone to deal with an injured and upset Perceptor.

9. Perceptor begins having memory lapses but most everyone believes it's just his usual absentmindedness. Until one day he forgets Wheeljack's name.

10. Pre-War. Perceptor has a stalker but hardly notices... until things take a turn for the creepy.

11. Perceptor's universal emulator allows him to survive even if his body is destroyed. All he needs to be is placed in a new body. But what if his emulator is removed and locked away? What if it's a very long time before he's given a new body? What if he wasn't given a new body until the Beast Wars?

12. Optimus always had trouble saying no to Perceptor.

13. How would SecDef Keller react to a giant robotic Hippy? That's right, Beachcomber has made it to Earth!

14. Crossover with BTVS. Xander has a new car but the rest of the Scoobies are less curious about that than they are about why Xander suddenly knows all this scientific trivia. Or, in other words, Perceptor arrives on Earth and meets The One Who Sees.

15. Those that died during TF:TM come back to life, but most think they're mechs in disguise playing a cruel joke. Only their bond mates believe they are who they say they are. However, everyone else believes that they are so desperate to have their bond mates back that they're willing to believe anything, even a lie.

16. Art. Human Soundwave taking his kids to the playground.

17. Similar to bunny 11 as Perceptor is without a body for a while, only this time for only a short while. His body is destroyed near the beginning of the war but his universal emulator/spark survives. It is recovered by an Autobot salvage team who hands it over to Ratchet who builds a new body. None of the Autobots know who he is or his allegiance but they refuse to just leave him without a body. Once he's in his new body, he says he doesn't remember who he was. This is understandable as most keep their personal memories stored in their CPU, and his had been destroyed. He is given the name Perceptor and is welcomed in the Autobot ranks. Now, Perceptor may or may not have lied about losing his memories, because we all know he's not your average Transformer (because of his universal emulator). But if he did lie, why? Was he a Decepticon? Neutral? Autobot? Did he know these Autobots but was believed killed and just wanted a fresh start? He could have been anyone, any kind of Transformer, either allegiance.

18. Scientific Progress Goes Boink? (Bonus points to whoever guesses where that quote came from. If you guess, you'll know what the bunny is).

19. Soundwave/Perceptor. Soundwave and Perceptor are bond mates No one, except Soundwave's cassettes, know this. So when Soundwave is killed in battle, everyone wonders why Perceptor suddenly can't even look at the Autobot that killed him.

20. Grimlock is tired of most people thinking he's stupid. He actually rather smart, even if his vocabulary is a bit limited. So he asks Perceptor, one of the few who knows how smart he actually is, to help him increase his vocabulary.

For some reason, the 7 make me think about 'The Sixth Sense'
Percpetor and ghosts... that could be fun if it's pre-TFTM...

For #5... I'm not sure anyone is allowed to do that. I'd like to adopt the bunny seeing as I've had a bunny that seems to be a near-identical oversized twin to it, but I think that the rules of the Mirrorverse says that you're not allowed to write fiction about the Mirrorverse for other fanfiction sites without first posting it on the Mirrorverse for a while, and even then you have to have explicit permission from the creator of any character you want to use if you want to publish it online. I suppose it'd be fanfanfiction, but I'm still wondering...

Hmmm... I guess it doesn't have to specifically be the Perceptor from the Mirrorverse, just one from a reality where Autobots and Decepticons have switched roles, more or less. I know in the DeadZone, there are evil Autobots so the Mirrorverse isn't the only one with that idea.

I'm looking forward to reading your fic, if you do decide to write it.
