A shorter list than usual...

1. Some silly person let the Constructicons read Harry Potter, and now Scrapper’s convinced that with a little clever engineering, he and his team can build a duplicate of Hogwarts for the Decepticons’ use.

2. Megatron refused Unicron’s offer to be turned into Galvatron, so Unicron went ahead and transfigured him against his will. ‘Megatron’ lives on inside Galvatron and every once in a while, he can take control.

     A. Similarly, Skywarp’s personality can temporarily overcome Cyclonus’s and Thundercracker’s personality can do the same for Scourge. (I'd be interested in Thundercracker's opinion of those horrid pink nails.)

     B. Megatron recognizes that Starscream might be useful in helping him overthrow Galvatron (he’s got a bad track record for successfully overthrowing dictators, but plenty of experience), and keeps the Galvatron personality from killing Starscream.

     C. Megatron realizes that Galvatron’s foolish decisions will lead to the Decepticons’ total and defeat utter long before he can regain control of his body by normal means. When he seizes control for a little while, he attempts suicide (either genuinely seeking destruction for himself and the other personality or simply trying to weaken Galvatron) – much to the horror of the others who are watching at the time.

     D. The Autobots realize that having a practical arch-enemy is better than having a completely insane one – the Galvatron personality doesn’t think ahead and will happily destroy Cybertron and every member of the Cybertronian race just to achieve short-term victories. So, what choice is there but a temporary alliance?

          1) It’s quite tricky for Rodimus to carry out the necessary negotiations. After all, Megatron is only in control of Galvatron’s body for short bursts of time – and those usually occur when Galvatron is distracted during battle. It makes for interesting conversations, at any rate.

          2) Eventually, a process is found which extracts the Megatron spark/personality from Galvatron’s body. The Autobots agree to carry it out – but neither faction has the materials or resources to build a new body compatible with Megatron. However, there is a convenient, recently-vacated body of a certain former Prime available…

3. Perceptron. (On a building I saw from a car window.)

4. ???: He’s bound to me.

???: You mean bonded?

???: No. Bound.

5. AVALANCHE!!

6. Autobots: *frozen, having just noticed the Decepticons watching them*

Decepticons: *disturbed* What the slag is going on here?!?

7. Certain Cybertronians get addicted to the chemicals in Earth’s atmosphere.

8. Red Alert is Bluestreak’s creator.

9. “Oh Bennie Meggy she’s he’s really keen / He’s got electric boots a mohair suit / You know I read it in a magazine / Meggy and the Jets!” ~Bennie and the Jets, Elton John

10. The G1 humans are switched with their Mirrorverse selves.

11. Starscream isn’t just being ambitious and stubborn – he really needs to become leader of the Decepticons (or at least he thinks he does), and soon.

     A. Just before the Decepticons left Cybertron, Starscream discovered that Megatron is unknowingly harboring a rare dormant disease, which will rapidly become fatal if the gun-former is placed under too much stress. Having their leader overthrown in a coup and disgracefully demoted is better for everyone concerned than having him just keel over on the battlefield.

     B. An aberration in Starscream’s programming causes him to become ill/suicidal unless he feels he’s in absolute control of his situation.

     C. Megatron is secretly an Autobot agent.

     D. Megatron’s alternate personality is secretly an Autobot agent. While Megatron recharges, his alter ego takes over his body and sabotages whatever plans or superweapons the Decepticons are working on.

          1) Starscream knows this because he once worked with Megatron, way back when he hadn’t been a gun-former and the alternate personality was in control. Other-Megatron had been a brilliant scientist and a close friend of both Starscream and Skyfire. His genius allows him to make subtle changes in the Constructicons’ blueprints or plant unconscious commands in his processor so that Megatron errs in his battle plans.

          2) Another Decepticon is on the brink of discovering Other-Megatron’s existence.

12. Unexpected – but not unwelcome.

13. A few common misconceptions about humans…

14. An interfactional friendship song.

15. What creator in his or her right mind would build sparklings that are nearly identical to each other? Look at the Lambo twins, for example – they may have similar Earth-altmodes, but their mech-form designs are distinct from each other.

Everyone assumes that mechs like the Seekers, the Coneheads, and the Datsuns are sibling-groups or otherwise related. They only put up with this because it keeps people from figuring out who they’re really related to.

16. Ratchet gets trapped in a medbay (full of incapacitated mechs) that’s under attack, and develops/uses his wrench-throwing skills to defend the patients inside.

17. Dead human skin cells make up a large percentage of dust. Sooner or later, this will cause problems at the Ark as some of the ‘Bots there have very delicate air intakes. (A Cybertronian version of asthma?) The humans couldn’t possibly be allowed to visit the Ark if it compromised the health of the Cybertronians living there. And of course, said humans are completely oblivious to the problems they’re causing.

     A. Bumblebee or another ‘Autobot-human ambassador’ is the one with Cybertronian asthma, and must drastically reduce exposure to humans for the sake of his health.

     B. A room which was once used as a temporary guest room for human visitors is remodeled into a Decepticon prison cell (maybe the humans requested a room with a window?). It’s so little-used now that when an ‘asthmatic’ Decepticon is imprisoned there, he has a major allergic reaction to the dust.

18. At the same time, Springer and Hot Rod find other potential spark-mates and abandon pursuit of Arcee. She’d thought that their fighting annoyed her, and that she’d be pleased if they both just moved on. But now they actually have. And she’s pissed.

19. Optimus PrimexChromia, and/or IronhidexElita-1.

20. Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker are the first trine ever to not be bondmates. Unfortunately, no one will believe them.

21. As the alpha ‘lions’ of the Autobot and Decepticon ‘prides’, it is Optimus’s and Megatron’s responsibility to chase off members of the opposing faction who pursue a relationship with the ‘lionesses’ of their pride.

22. Roller is the reformatted sparkling of a Decepticon.

23. Insert Transformers into the Greek myth about the Trojan War. (Eris, goddess of discord – Unicron? – presents three other goddesses with a golden apple labeled ‘To the fairest’. The other three goddesses – a goddess of wisdom & war, a goddess of marriage and family, and a goddess of love – couldn’t decide who should have the apple. They ask a mortal to decide which of them is ‘the fairest’. The first goddess offers wisdom & skill in battle to the mortal in exchange for his vote; the second, political power and control of all Asia; the third, the love of the most beautiful woman in the world. The mortal chooses the goddess of love, and is rewarded accordingly.)

24. Blitzwing/Firestar.

8. Red Alert is Bluestreak’s creator.
But Bluestreak has grown up thinking his creator to be dead! Dun dun DUN!

18. At the same time, Springer and Hot Rod find other potential spark-mates and abandon pursuit of Arcee. She’d thought that their fighting annoyed her, and that she’d be pleased if they both just moved on. But now they actually have. And she’s pissed.
Personally, I would absolutely LOVE to see this! (And I know how it feels Arcee...) I wish I had the time (and talent) to be able to do something like this!

I am curious as to who their other potential lovers would be... (You know you've been lurking 'round here for too long when Perceptor immediately springs to mind for such a question! Ahahaha...)

Maybe after the attack on Blue's city, the sight of what poor Blue thought was his creator's mangled corpse traumatized him, and he wandered off in shock before Red was rescued/recovered.
I can't decide if that is less or more angsty than my immediate thought that Red had faked his death for some reason. (To protect his son from something, though now I can't remember what this was. It made sense though, I swear it!)

I hope Arcee doesn't seek revenge against Perceptor for stealing her not-so-unwanted-after-all lovers.
Holy crap, BOTH of them!? Perceptor, you tease!
Perceptor: Why does this keep happening to me? *confused*
Arcee: *glares*
