G1 Grapplebunny

Hey all, I'm new here - and I bring a bunny that is depressing as all hell, but could make for some very good story in the right hands (someone else's!).

What if, at the end of the G1 season 2 ep "The Master Builder," Grapple survived but Hoist died? What would that do to Grapple, on a personal/internal level and also among the rest of the Autobots (discipline, future trust of him in his role, etc)?

I think this bunny could work as gen or as slash with Grapple/Hoist as a pairing, so I'm tagging the post as both gen and slash... do with that what you will =)
