1. Lyrical prompt: "I used to roll the dice/Feel the fear in my enemies' eyes.../One minute I held the key/Next the walls were closed on me.../Once you were gone there was never/Never an honest word/And that was when I ruled the world." (Coldplay's "Viva la Vida")
2. Seekers tend to, on the average, come across as flighty or completely mad (Starscream and Skywarp acting as examples of the extremes in behaviour). The truth of the matter is they're incredibly intelligent and territorial, and the reason they all joined the Decepticon cause is because they felt it the only way to defend what they consider "theirs": the stronghold cities, their trines, and maybe even a few of the other Decepticon soldiers.
3. Expanding on #2: Upon awakening on Earth, the seekers resumed their extremes in behaviour even as they explored and expanded their "new" territory. Unfortunately, they've also "claimed" a few military bases – and the staff thereof – as part of their extended family unit, and constantly struggle with the urge to turn against their faction in order to defend that which they've claimed.
On the plus side, it would confuse the hell out of the Autobots and make for some great image captures...
4. What if the Starscream in Animated is actually just a reformatted-and-amnesiac G1 Starscream? Does that mean that if the All Spark shard is removed from his forehead that his "unique" spark will just find its way back to him? And if it does, will he remember his previous life/lives?
This is the stuff that pops into my head when I'm trying to fall asleep. Yeesh.
5. "It's not paranoia if they're really out to get you!"
I need to stay away from Wikiquote. The next few prompts are basically paraphrased from M.A.S.H.:
6. "You know, we gotta do it someday... throw away all the guns and invite all the 'cons to a cocktail party. Last mech standing on his feet at the end wins the war."
7. "Those two, they're ruining this war, for all of us!"
8. Megatron: "I assume you're all read my notice concerning the recent crime wave."
Swindle: "I would've read it, but the notice was stolen."
9. ?: "You're drunk!"
??: (slurring) "That's a dirty lie. And I intend to press charges. The minute I'm sober."
10. "There are certain rules about a war. Rule number one is mechs die. And rule number two is medics can't change rule number one."
11. Sideswipe:" You know those things I've said about you – all those nasty tricks I've played on you?"
?: "Yes?"
Sideswipe: "I'd like to get better and do them all over again."
12. "Very good, _____. Your report is concise, informative, and makes no sense whatsoever."
13. First Aid: "I'll treat their wounds, heal their wounds, bind their wounds, but I will not inflict their wounds!"

Date: 2008-12-17 06:17 pm (UTC)I prefer this one:- "Paramoia is a very conforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter." From The Traitor's Hand by Sandy Mitchel.
Also I love your M*A*S*H quotes; you picked out some good ones there.
6. "You know, we gotta do it someday... throw away all the guns and invite all the 'cons to a cocktail party. Last mech standing on his feet at the end wins the war."
I can picture Ratchet saying this to either wheeljack or first aid after a battle ;) If it actually happened...I can't help but wonder who WOULD be left standing.

Date: 2008-12-17 06:29 pm (UTC)Not the seekers; I get the feeling that every last one of them is a lightweight and they'd be the first to hit the floor, possibly after a few bouts of drunken singing.

Date: 2008-12-18 03:19 pm (UTC)LOL I bet there would be a LOT of blackmail material after such a party.
Hmm wonder what drunken bets would be remembered? *ponders this*

Date: 2008-12-18 03:34 pm (UTC)Oh, definitely! I doubt anyone would be able to find all the recordings, especially after Red Alert gets to them (and you know he'd be recording on the security cameras "just in case"!). Hell, he'd probably have all the really good blackmail whether he remembered the initial events or not!

I'm fairly sure that Blaster and Soundwave, even if sloshed out of their processors, would be able to audio record every bet up until the point they passed out. After that, mechs'd just be making things up to see if anyone would fall for it
even the seekers who were down for the count after about an hour.no subject
Date: 2008-12-21 03:42 pm (UTC)Of course it's Red Alert if he didn't then everyone would be worried ;P still he must have quite the collection. ...wish I could see it XD

...Oooh. It'd be interesting to see this in Movieverse, with canon military figures.
7. "Those two, they're ruining this war, for all of us!"
Megatron and Optimus. They take everything so seriously! Don't they know that the whole thing is just a training exercise?
12. "Very good, _____. Your report is concise, informative, and makes no sense whatsoever."
Megatron. Because I've always imagined that his subordinates' reports would all be like this (http://www.comicsindisguise.com/comics/2007/May07/May04.html).

Date: 2008-12-17 10:32 pm (UTC)*snrk!* I can see the 'wtf?' expressions all around right now should a group of seekers abruptly open fire on their own faction because resurrected!Megatron/Galvatron/Shockwave/Soundwave/whomever is attacking "their" base. They might need to pick Ironhide's jaw up off the ground. And Lennox's. And Epps'.

Seriously. I'm waiting for Soundwave to be the one to yell that abruptly in the middle of a battle... and for the Dinobots to sound off in agreement.

I love that particular strip! Poor Skywarp just looks so sad that his artwork got shot down. *pets Warp*

Perceptor.

Date: 2008-12-18 03:35 pm (UTC)XD Most likely. If nothing else, he might just be pretending to drink while carefully recording everything going on for potential blackmail material at a later date.

This song makes me think of Optimus, having been deposed from his position as the leader of Cybertron (the whole tradition of Primes got overthrown).

Well if his spark could travel through time, I don't see why it couldn't travel between dimensions too.
13. First Aid: "I'll treat their wounds, heal their wounds, bind their wounds, but I will not inflict their wounds!"
I am seeing First Aid finally getting sick of seeing Ratchet throwing wrenches and spanners at people - and having to repair the resulting dents and maybe even minor internal damage - and getting into an argument with Ratch over it.
