I was gonna hold out and make a long list, but you know what, screw it.
1. Mechs have blue sparks. Femmes have orange. (Because orange is opposite of blue on the colour wheel, of course!)
1a. Ratchet discovers one of his "mech" patients has an orange spark and is really a re-formatted femme.
2. The Autobots discover an extremely sufficient way to synthesise energon - also extremely controversial: "Energon is made of PEOPLE! IT'S PEOPLE!"
3. Art bunny, inspired by too much Christopher Moore: TF:Ani Jet Twins. As vampires. (I don't even like vampires, but I still wanna see it.)
4. Crack!pairing number one: Wheeljack/Red Alert
5. Crack!pairing number two: Powerglide/Huffer
6. And a more disturbing done. I would like to see an example of this: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LastDanceWithMaryJane within a fanfiction.
7. Crossover with the old, 1980's "Knight Rider" series. At the end of "KITT vs KARR", KARR's body was destroyed, but his CPU is absolutely fine. What if one of the Autobots recognises it as a CPU and decides to build him a new, Autobot body? (This could go two ways: either KARR is impressed at other, sentient machines with no ulterior motives and decides to work for him, or he uses his new body to continue being evil. Hey, either way, he's voiced by Peter Cullen!)
