Before you read the bunnies, here's a note on tags. When tagging your entries, before creating a tag, please check to see if there is already one for the character. The tags list is getting cluttered with repeats. Also, before creating a tag, if you think the tag will only be used once, do not create it. Thank you.
1. Blaster is always happy, always partying, always smiling... right? Wrong. Blaster is only those things when other people are around. When he's alone, he's quiet, still, expressionless. He's not depressed, he's just not alive when no ones around.
2. Soundwave, Blaster, and their cassettes are always understood no matter what language they are speaking. Even if the listener has never even heard of the language being used.
3. For the longest time, triplechangers were not allowed to have names.
4. "I must have hallucinated that part."
5. He had a bomb implanted in him and he didn't know.
6. Cassette carriers, being maternal by nature, have several systems and programs that others don't. These allow the carrier to calm and care for sparklings, but also allows them to soothe and calm adults that are agitated or angry or upset. This fact is not widely known. Optional: I'd love it if one of those systems allowed them to purr. Not that quiet engine rumbling that vehicles can do, but actual purring.
7. 2007. I had this odd idea about breeding in the 2007verse. The Allspark was not the only way for Cybertronians to reproduce, but it was the most frequently used because the natural way was excruciatingly painful (like being eaten by acid from the inside out). But now that the Allspark is gone, the only way is the natural way. And to breed this way, you need different genders. Now Cybertronians don't classify male and female as genders. Instead, they classify genders as:
Groundbound vehicles
Fliers
Triplechangers
Structures (non-mobile)
Groundbound vehicles need a flier in order to be able to reproduce, but triplechangers work just as well. Fliers need groundbound vehicles, but due to prejudice, prefer triplechangers who also work. Triplechangers, of course, need either groundbounds or fliers. Structures are the only ones that can breed with others of their own gender.
This could, of course, cause the humans to start making jokes.
8. Does Blaster have a mute button?
9. Gestalt Valentines Day Cards: You complete me.
10. Art. Crazy!Scientist!Ratchet and Igor!Wheeljack. Because Simmons imagines them that way in chapter four of All in the Job by Flamedancer33.
11. Art. Kup and sparkling!Wreckers.
12. Kup found Springer when Springer was a sparkling. Or rather, Springer found him. It actually took Kup awhile to notice the little sparkling that was following him like a puppy.
13. Art. Kitty!Mirage hiding under the couch.
14. Trailbreaker/Springer.
15. The easiest way to treat Triplechangers for even minor injuries, is to sedate them. At least, that's what medics are taught in school. Then the schools start teaching medics that the worse the injury, the stronger the sedative should be. With the war going on and the cumulative effects of the sedatives becoming more noticeable, Medics finally realize that they just might have been wrong.
16. When dealing with Soundwave and Blaster together, everyone always got the feeling that they were missing half the conversation.
17. Art. Optimus as a duck.
18. Inspired by Gargoyles. Kup never did like visiting Springer's hometown. He always had a very difficult time getting home. "Those roads don't lead you where you want to go, they take you where you need to be."
19. Only the minibots and cassettes notice that Blaster's voice always comes from his speakers, no matter what mode he's in.
20. All triplechangers fall into unexplained stasis lock...
A. Because they were designed to function for only a certain amount of time and if not awakened, their sparks with fade away.
B. A virus that causes excruciating pain and they put themselves in stasis lock to escape the pain.
C. Someone has gained remote access to their systems and they've put themselves into stasis so they can concentrate fully on fighting the control.
D. Something I hadn't thought of.
21. Even if you deactivated your audials, you would still be able to hear Blaster and Soundwave when they speak to you. Soundwave they could understand as he's a telepath; but how is Blaster doing this? Maybe it has nothing to do with telepathy at all.
22. Triplechangers have symbiotes (think Gua'uld/Tok'ra from Stargate or Trill from Star Trek).
23. Sometimes, Springer seemed wise beyond his years.
24. A world where they cannot download the language.
25. Trying to get the Wreckers to do something they didn't want to do was about as effective as herding cats.
26. Triplechangers, as sparklings, were left alone. Never held, never hugged. Never touched at all.
27. Hot Rod thought Springer needed to learn to be a better liar. Kup though Hot Rod needed to learn that Springer was an excellent liar and that pretending to be a terrible liar was one of his favorite lies of all.
28. Inspired by bunny 18. The Wreckers always seem to somehow turn up exactly where they are most needed.
29. Skywarp has been alive since the time of the original Thirteen. His trinemates don't know this and believe he's as young as he acts. Actually, the only ones that do know are those he's grown up with and those who he watched grow up. What will it take for Skywarp to actually act his age?
30. Pre-war or Post-war. Inspired by Without a Trace. Blaster walks out of his apartment one day and completely disappears.
31. Hot Rod decides Springer needs a lover and attempts to set him up. Roadbuster is angry with Hot Rod because he knows that Springer is in love with him and his attempts at playing matchmaker are only hurting the triplechanger.
32. Even the most bad ass mechs had a teddy bear at one point in their lives.
33. What if all triplechangers were femmes?
34. Springer is Primus, which means Unicron is his twin brother.
35. "Are they mechanical beings, or energy beings in a mechanical shell?"
36. "I'm just glad Blaster's not here to hear this."
37. "I'm sorry, I'm not here anymore. I've suddenly become a recording." ~ Charlie Brown.
38. Hot Rod tries to repair a badly injured Springer and seriously messes something up.
39. City of Ember inspired. Cassette holders and Cassettes are from a forgotten city deep underground.
40. Blaster disappears without his cassettes and not even they can find him. Rumble and Frenzy, however, are with him and they must trust each other in order to survive.
