Not so much a crossover so much as...maybe the bots and/or cons (and/or both!) acting out the parts and the plot. Like a giant elaborate stageplay, with their own twists.

See, I consider it a crossover because it's characters from one thing in the universe of another (whether they're taking over for the characters or not). Because most Autobots don't seem like they'd do a stage version of this...though the Decepticons might...

Bumblebee seems to fit the bill of token youngling badass (Seventeen-thousand instead of Seventeen?) but hell, we could chuck Sam/Spike in there for lulz. If so, Shi's wardrobe must be kept intact.
