25 bunnies

School has, if anything, encouraged the bunnies. Only some of them are coming out weird now. Warning: Some of these are rather epic-length.

1. Elita with a big banner with femme!Optimus on it.

2. [2007] Sam’s parents aren’t as good as they are in canon. When his parents loss custody, 7 year old Sam is sent to live with his newly released Great-Grandfather Archibald by a ‘social worker’ named Simmons. Sam is more caretaker to Archibald then the other way around, and by the time he’s 17, Simmons is one of the only adults he feels he can trust.

3. [2007] Sam is beginning to suspect he’s an alien magnet. First Miles’s ship-pod-thing crashes in front of him at 8, and now he’s got a transforming robot in his driveway.

4. The Quintessons are actually a fundamentalist cult from the Quinte race. Most of the Quinte would rather not remember the nut-jobs they threw off planet a few generations ago.

5. Sentient beings are unique in their ability to learn from their mistakes, and remarkable in their disinclination to do so.

6. ?: Congratulations- you’ve disproved the ‘stable time loop’ theory of time travel.

7. [G1] Possibly related to above- Red Alert is a time traveler from a hellish future. He’s determined to stop it from happening again at all costs. (“Back home, Inferno used to chide me for being too trusting”)

8. [G1] All but one of the aerialbots are killed. So is Starscream. Skywarp thinks they can all solve their problems by recruiting the survivor into the trine.

9. [TF:A/G1] Blackarachnia ends up in G1 Shockwave’s lab.

10. [TF:A/G1] Sideswipe/Blackarachnia/Sunstreaker

11. [TF:A] Anyone remember BA’s comment about ‘being dismantled and examined on some lab table’ if Optimus had brought here back to Cybertron? I noticed that Optimus never actually says that wouldn’t happen. Methink all is not well in cybertronian society after the great war.

12. [G1] Jobs at power stations or oil rigs are now rated as one of the most fatal occupations in America. Accepting one is like joining the army- your family never knows when their going to get that call where the man at the other end says, “I’m sorry, today there was a decepticon attack…”

13. The autobots find out just how not-sane one of their human allies is.

14. [G1] Prowl: You do realize that I was just like you, before I had my battle computer installed?

15. In any given section of either army, roughly half of them couldn’t care less about the cause. 2 out of 3 of them joined because someone important to them was reprogrammed by the other side, and the 3rd joined to stay close to stay to someone reprogrammed on this side. The other half are those brainwashed mechs. Naturally, everyone thinks their situation is unique, or caused by something only the other side would do.

16. [G1] Danny Phantom Crossover. Wheeljack and Perceptor meet the Fentons at a paranormal convention, and Perceptor is fascinated by the strange readings Danny Fenton gives off.

17. Millions of years after the autobots’ first set of human contacts died, several young bots wake up with memories of a green alien planet and mechs they’ve never met. (You’re First Aid, right? Do you know who 'Ratchet' is?)

18. [G1] Arimus Prime, and her bonded, Orion Pax.

19. [G1] Blaster's visor is retractable. He uses it to shield his especially delicate optical sensors from sunlight.- Teletraan I
Vampire!Blaster, anyone?

21. [G1] Wheeljack and Perceptor invent a weapon that tears holes in the fabric of reality. This fact does not come to light until it is used in battle, when it is blown up, resulting in a permanent hole between realities, and causing temporary 'reality holes' to open and close erratically all across the universe, centering around Earth. Several copies of Unicron come through the permanent hole before the combined forces of the autobots and decepticons manage to seal it, but by then it's too late. The Unicrons are loose, vast swatches of the human population are dead, the universe has collapsed into anarchy as panicked races succumb to fear over their fate, and multiple members of both sides, mostly autobots but including both leaders, are dead. Two decades later, The Nemesis is home to Soundwave and Red Alert (or whoever you choose), co-leaders of an uneasily united alliance of decepticons, autobots and humans, all working together to scavenge, steal, bargain or borrow whatever is necessary for their combined survival. An unexpected reality hole catapults them into an unaltered version of their universe, but not everyone is ready to leave the ship and go back to skirmishes over energon, especially the children who grew up on ship.

22. Scene looking for a story: A collection of mechs and femmes with obvious weld marks, dents, missing and mismatched optics, tattered and clashing paint jobs, lost and obviously replaced limbs and a variety of faction symbols (some of which include autobot and decepticon sigils, stylized knots, complex characters and planetary images), all seated around fire in front of an equally damaged ship, telling stories, laughing, and drinking.

23. [G1] Blaster is Soundwave’s creation- from when he was an autobot.

24. [G1] There are laws against creating new bots simply to gain a lover or servants, but most rich mechs get around it by simply paying some else to make the new mech.
    A. There weren't always laws against it, and in order to get it passed, legislators had to promise not to take away mechs who were created for those purposes before the law passed.
     B. When one their 'new lovers' became boring, many simply dumped them on the streets.
          I. Some of them became involved in the illegal gladiator games, Like Megatron.
II. Others, not content to languish in obscurity because of their origins, stole the identities and lives from other, more 'qualified' mechs and used to obtain positions of power and importance, like Prowl and Starscream.
III. Most, however, have no legal or illegal recourse and end up stuck with dangerous, dead-end jobs at places like the docks and shipping yards, like Ariel, Orion and Dion.

25. [G1] What if Optimus was reprogrammed? He only thinks he and 'Ariel' were nearly killed in the dockyard energon raid. In reality, he and a seeker called Aerial were injured protecting their lord and lover from vengeful autobots after Sentinal Prime was killed. He and Aerial were brought back to Iacon to be interrogated and executed when a strange thing happened: He was chosen by the matrix of leadership. The autobots did the best they could with that curveball, considering. He and Aerial were upgraded into drastically different frames, had all memories after joining the decepticon's deleted (and in Aeriel's case, all memories period), a memory of a decepticon raid was added to explain their injuries and turn them against their former faction, and then had a dead friend (Dion) thrown in to prevent them from questioning things too closely.
    A. Elita-1 is captured by Soundwave, who attempts to reprogram her. Instead, he triggers a defense protocol left over from before 'her' reformating. It resets everything- system and processor and defense protocols- to the last 'clean' back up: Aerial, an orn before the raid. Aerial hides the fact and escapes to earth, convinced Shockwave is a traitor and is responsible for Orion/Optimus/Optronix's demise.

26. For a scientist, a minor glitch like only being able to speak the truth is hardly a problem- there's so much of it to tell, and most of it's misunderstood by laypersons.

3. [2007] Sam is beginning to suspect he’s an alien magnet. First Miles’s ship-pod-thing crashes in front of him at 8, and now he’s got a transforming robot in his driveway.

Miles is an alien! It explains so much! *loves*

7. [G1] Possibly related to above- Red Alert is a time traveler from a hellish future. He’s determined to stop it from happening again at all costs. (“Back home, Inferno used to chide me for being too trusting”)

I WANT TO SEE THIS! *LOVES*

*LOVES* That would be so funny. And kind of sad.

16. [G1] Danny Phantom Crossover. Wheeljack and Perceptor meet the Fentons at a paranormal convention, and Perceptor is fascinated by the strange readings Danny Fenton gives off.

Interesting. *has never watched Danny Phantom*

19. [G1] Blaster's visor is retractable. He uses it to shield his especially delicate optical sensors from sunlight.- Teletraan I
Vampire!Blaster, anyone?

*LOVES* And his Cassettes protect his secret!

21. [G1] Wheeljack and Perceptor invent a weapon that tears holes in the fabric of reality.

And I bet Wheeljack and Perceptor sat back and enjoyed the chaos. Because they're evil crazy like that.

I want to read some Soundwave/Red Alert now.

And I wonder what those of the unaltered reality think when they see Autobots, Decepticons, and humans working together.

*LOVES* This would make an interesting fic. Or a pretty piece of art.

23. [G1] Blaster is Soundwave’s creation- from when he was an autobot.

*LOVES*

Blaster: *cries* "Why'd daddy leave?"
Jazz: "Uh... The Decepticons... brainwashed him?" *has no idea how to deal with kids*

26. For a scientist, a minor glitch like only being able to speak the truth is hardly a problem- there's so much of it to tell, and most of it's misunderstood by laypersons.

Perceptor? That'd be interesting.

I know XD
...I Wonder what he really looks like. Tentacles?

Like that baby from MIB? That was a cute baby. Maybe... something a bit more human looking? Or at least human shaped.

... Why am I suddenly seeing the words 3rd Rock from the Sun? I don't want him to be that type of alien.

But think of the possibilities! Cross-faction group therapy which lead to collaboration which lead to mutinies... (Yes, I've got a thing for crossfaction cooperation. Why do you ask?)

I like cross faction cooperation too. And group therapy! *loves*

How? By arranging his meals?...And I just managed to thoroughly squick myself out. I didn't even know that was possible.

I was thinking that they cover-up any slip up he makes. If he accidentally takes too much energon from someone or if someone sees him feeding. Or maybe they hack into Ratchet's computers to make sure the medic can't detect anything odd. And yes, they sometimes arrange his meals if he can't get it himself.

Maybe they meant for it to happen! they're agents of a Unicron that consumed it's universe and is looking for a new one!

*LOVES*

It's my personal crack pairing. I've only seen it once. *is sad*

I think I've seen one. Red Alert was a prisoner and managed to escape Soundwave's quarters. Laserbeak told Soundwave and he went and got Red Alert and carried him back. Is that the one you're thinking of?

Or when some five year old runs up to Soundwave and insists, "Unca, UP!"

Awwww, that is so cute! *wants to see*

Oddly enough, this bunny was inspired by a Mosaic which implied just that.

Link please?

Yeah, Perceptor. Why else would he use such big words, unless he needed to be able to say, 'I think you're a psychotic fragger who should be locked up' without getting punched in the face?

*nods* I believe I did say once, that Perceptor used such elaborate language because he didn't want anyone knowing when he insulted them.

Human + Tentacles? Or you could go the shapshifter route, and have no true form at all.

Shapeshifter! Now, Sam will not only think he's an Alien Magnet, but he'll think he's a Transforming!Alien Magnet.

They'd need to hack into more then Ratchet's computer if they don't want him to notice anything strange.

True. Sometimes it's like Ratchet can smell a lie a mile away.

Thanks for the link!

13. The autobots find out just how not-sane one of their human allies is.

No, no, no!! I am not revisiting that fic again. It's dead and buried, I am never going to work on it again. Never, never, never!! *hides*

22. [...] and a variety of faction symbols (some of which include autobot and decepticon sigils, stylized knots, complex characters and planetary images)

Just that bit reminded me of a mental image I had, from one of my mega-bunnies - a mech version of Griever (see the icon), with symbols for all of his alliegances (I know that spelling is wrong) - the Autobot symbol, the SeeD chest, the Esthari national symbol, his personal crest... I ended up cutting it right back to just the Autobrand and the SeeD crest, because there were too many.

10. [TF:A/G1] Sideswipe/Blackarachnia/Sunstreaker
Ooh... Never thought of this, but it'd be interesting!

I noticed that too. Also that the Decepticons HAVEN'T done so to her. I also noticed that the Autobots ruling Cybertron has been called "Autobot Oppression" (which makes me think of Fascism or Communism.) Who is really the bad guy in this war again? Sometimes I wonder...

21. Holy crap, that is such an awesome bunny! 8D

I...can't really see the multiple Unicrons, honestly. :/ Considering what one Unicron can do, I don't think there would be any survivors. Perhaps some other monster or something. But what? Hmm....
You know, if I can think of something satisfactory to replace the Unicrons, I might just adopt this one. :)
