1. Springer was losing his mind and Hot Rod, unable to help, could only watch.
2. 2007. Crossover with Stargate SG-1/Atlantis. A group of Autobots encounter the Ori.
3. Loyalties have changed since the last time Optimus and his group had contact with Cybertron.
4. Without your memories, you become a whole new person. Springer may still be alive, but does Springer still exist?
5. Crossover with the Get Along Gang.
6. Paparazzi by Lady Gaga.
7. Skyfire/Ultra Magnus.
8. Smokescreen, Prowl, and Bluestreak are three demonic angels that were sent to the mortal realm in an attempt to get them to control their blood lust. Inspired by some of vejiraziel's art.
9. 2007. Crossover with BTVS. An Autobot crashes into the Hellmouth.
10. "Insane now, silly later."
11. The war is over but that's not necessarily a good thing. Especially for the Wreckers who have been deemed too dangerous and have been ordered into permanent stasis. They have not been informed of this decision, for fear that they'd find a way to escape. However, Ultra Magnus has 'accidentally' let Hot Rod know of this information. [OR] Ultra Magnus 'accidentally' lets this information leak to the press.
12. Chevrons actually have a purpose. A purpose that those without would never guess.
13. Springer disappears and when he's found, there's something not quite right about him.
14. Soundwave's hobby is basically messing with Blaster's mind.
15. Genderbending. Springer and a few others get turned into femmes. Springer, oddly enough, wouldn't mind so much if Hot Rod would just stop teasing her.
16. Springer was severely injured during battle and while he's out of immediate danger, due to the nature of the injuries Ratchet doesn't know if Springer will ever wake up.
17. From the day they met, Springer knew Hot Rod would be the next Prime. Though he would never explain how he knew.
18. Springer is a Decepticon spy.
19. Inspired by other bunnies/fics. Springer is a femme, but since femme bodies are so expensive, his creators were forced to get her a mech body. She grew up as a mech and the fact that she is actually a femme has never felt real to her. So when Hot Rod discovers Springer's real gender (possibly because femme sparks are a different color than mech sparks. Or something.) and freaks, Springer can't figure out why he's so upset.
20. Art. A tired looking Blaster leaning against Soundwave. Blaster: "I just don't care anymore."
21. Inspired by an old bunny about transforming technology changing to morphing. This is caused by highly advanced nanites. These nanites also enhance self-repair. "What's a medic?" Note: You can change nanites to something more believable/creative. It was just the first thing I thought of.
22. Crossover with Trick My Truck.
23. Springer had a pretty crappy childhood. Hot Rod is about to learn just how crappy.
24. Springer is a reprogrammed Decepticon.
25. The Twins are trying very hard to get Blaster to laugh.
26. Smokescreen/Blaster.
27. Art. Hot Rod holding sparkling!Springer.
28. More a question than a bunny, but it can be taken as one. Do all triplechangers in Animated have multiple personalities or is Blitzwing just special?

44. The war has just begun and Thundercracker has been ordered to seduce a particular neutral into Decepticon ranks.
45. Jazz takes care of his little brother, Blaster. Might have mentioned this before.
46. Ultra Magnus and sparklings.
47. Tracks gets very nervous when Blaster starts playing Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood.
48. Triplechangers are a myth. And these myths are now thoroughly annoyed with the war.
49. Shockwave/Blaster.
50. Raoul: "Why are you in my garage?"
Blaster: "Because Tracks will never think to look for me in his own hiding place."
51. Hot Rod liked to pretend that he got his way most of the time because people liked him and not because his best friend was a Wrecker who liked to stand behind him and smile at whoever Hot Rod was talking to.
52. Optimus had come to realize that bored Wreckers were, in fact, far scarier than bored Dinobots.
53. Springer's injured and a stuck up recently promoted commander thinks he has what it takes to lead the Wreckers while Springer recovers.
54. The Wreckers are turned into sparklings. Poor Xantium.
55. Seekers aren't the only flyers that go crazy without sky.
56. Art. Thundercracker/Springer. Springer's leaning back against a wall, smiling at Thundercracker who is whispering at him. [OR] They're kissing. Optional: Hot Rod in the background going WTF?!
57. A rumor is going around that the Wreckers have betrayed the Autobots. Someone even has 'proof'. Proof which even convinces those that know the Wreckers personally.
58. The Wreckers are the creations of Primus... and Unicron. They were the last thing they created together.
59. The Wreckers want a pet.
60. The Bond between the Wreckers was just short of Gestalt. In fact, they have often been mistaken for a Gestalt by those who didn't know who they were.

Well, there's no sure way of knowing, as Blitzwing is the only triplechanger to show up yet, but I had been talking about this with dA buddies... We had a lot of fun creating three personalities for Ani!Octane...

Y'know, we never got around to talking about the Autobot triplechangers. All I remember from the conversation was that all the triplechangers have three personalities. And also they all have accents. Cos accents are FUN. (Blitzwing was German, Octane Russian, and Astrotrain Scottish.)

I actually had this one thought a long while ago (somewhere between season 1 and 2, i think) where Blitzwing, while not being the sanest triplechanger, is the safest. Because his personality is fragmented, he can't get all aspects of his head working together. He can only be clever, angry or unpredictable and never more than one at a time.
Unlike other triplechangers who have seamless personalities and once their more random or 'crazy' personality dominates (likely shown by optics going from normal, to bright to their faces falling in shadow with glowing optics) then no one's safe.
Of course, I never got around to doing anything with it since that would require me actually having to watch TFA |D

Yeah, I'm not fond of TFA either. I only watched a few minutes of the first episode and didn't plan to watch anymore of it. Though I watched most of Transwarped because I wanted to hear Perceptor's voice (because just about everyone was talking about it). I stopped watching once I heard it (which was, unfortunately, towards the end of the episode). I could barely understand a word he said.
TFA seems, to me, like a weird kind of soap opera for kids.

I think I was considering this storyline during season 2 because Astrotrain and Octane managed to join up with Megatron and Ultra Magnus was forced to call in their own triplechangers in defense. Except that when the six of them actually starting fighting each other they all went... sorta ballistic. It's like you wouldn't notice it just talking to them- they all seem perfectly normal -but when they get pushed to the limit, they go into berserker mode.
