G1 - Starscream, Chosen of Primus

There is a good reason for why Starscream has an immortal spark, he was originally a Servant of Primus - a special envoy sent to heal Cybertronian society when it started going bad during the Golden Age. The problem was, Star ran afoul of the growing corrupt element in the government and was taken captive, tortured, experimented on, and eventually got memory-wiped and rebuilt as a Seeker. Between that torture and his later life under Megatron's thumb, Starscream is a twisted shadow of the person he started out as.

But all Servants of Primus are ex-Primes - consorts of Primus. Their bonds with Primus make them ideal envoys of Primus's will.

Now, deep into the war, Primus wants his lost consort back, and will let no one stand in his way to claiming Starscream again.
