*sigh*
The hatch failed. The bunnies did not stay in their nice, snug little cages.
Oh no, they had to chew through the wood and cuddle up. And then, they had the nerve to squeeze through the corners, where the wood and wire didn't fully mesh up.
I don't think I've stepped on any. But, I need to get rid of them before I do hurt one of the little guys!
I. Transforming leaves a mech vulnerable. In Vehicle mode or root mode, the mech can defend himself (by attacking the enemy or by dodging the shots). When he is in the process of changing from one form to the other, he is a sitting target – moving parts that are normally hidden and protected are exposed for an instant, and he cannot maneuver at all (if moving, always in same direction, same speed before, during and after).
Please, take one? They are cute and cuddly - just ignore the sharp incisors.
I do.
Trying to escape from the one's I've picked up on my last visit, but I think they've got me cornered.

- a. Then there are those who, knowing this fact, manage ultrafast transformations in the midst of battle, despite the fact that any stray shot might cripple them or leave them deactivated.
II. Smokescreen is the youngest Praxian. Not Prowl, Not Bluestreak. Smokes. Smoky, Smokescreen, the baby of the three known Praxians on the Autobot Ark.
a. (extra: Smokescreen is younger than Bumblebee, but since Praxian young act like full-grown mechs, no one knows the difference).
III. (Prime): Bumblebee is a Flyer – or a Seeker youngling. Why you might ask? He’s the only autobot/grounded mech with door-panels.
IV. (Prime): Energon is actually Kryptionan Crystals! (Think, Superman/Smallville/Lois and Clark Adventures crossover, if it helps). Green Energon is Toxin – deadly to all. Red (speed) Energon has rare properties, highly valued and almost impossible to find. Blue/Purple Energon is the regular stuff they can utilize. What would gold Energon crystals do?
a. Would this stuff really replicate itself if sunk in water? (like how the Fortress of Solitude came about, or the Kryptionan land-mass in Superman Returns)
V. Soundwave is not the only telepathic mech around. Just the only acknowledged one on the Decepticon side. The autobots have one too – most assume Blaster is the ‘mind’ reader, due to his talent of holding open comm. lines against Soundwave’s devastating attacks. They are wrong. The true telepathic/mind-reading Autobot mech is Jazz.
VI. Trines – Before the War, Trines were selected and chosen by the group. By those seeking a trine, to protect their back, to be their friend – and sometimes, to become part of the family. All three participants had to agree to be a Trine together. Now, with Flyers of all types and origins scarce, they don’t have the option to be picky about who flies with them. So, they formed loose bonds that allowed every incomplete trine access to the sky.
a. After the War began, their ground superiors (Megatron and other officers of your choice), started assigning replacements to trines and groups that were incomplete or had lost members and thrust strangers into the trine, without any checking for compatibility outside flying and fighting.
b. Megatron, seeking to dominate the sky and command the Air-advantage, grouped trines by their flying abilities – He enforced the trining of Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp despite the fact they couldn’t stand each other outside of battle. To him, a trio where one member could NOT shake or out fly the other two was much sought after.
c. It was just a happy coincidence that such trines formed under Megatron’s orders (personal supervision) have at least one mech completely and utterly loyal to Megatron.
d. The flying trines were damaged by Megatron organizing the trines by flight ability – each group had fliers of the same proficiency. Thus, they either learned together or died together – Vosian fliers preferred having one EXPERIENCED flyer take on two rookies and teach them – then, as they rookies gained confidence and honed natural ability and talents, they formed new trines (or stayed together).
VII. Starscream the scientist, Starscream the explorer, Starscream the inventer – they were replaced by Starscream the warrior, the Air-Commander, one of Megatron’s officers, in the line of succession if Megatron ever deactivated in battle. That was during the Autobot-Decepticon war on Cybertron.
a. Now the war has spread to Earth, and Starscream, the valued fighter and advisor, has been replaced by Starscream the Scapegoat. Starscream hates this aspect of being one of the top-officers. His desires to overthrow Megatron didn’t really gain any foothold, until the first time he was punished for someone else’s mistake. Disposing of Megatron will mean Starscream will no longer be the object of Lord Megatron’s wrath.
VIII. Is Starscream a simple underling? Or a trusted officer? Was Starscream once the pride of the War Academy and not a decorated Deep-Space Explorer of the Iacon Science Academy?
a. Maybe Starscream is all of these – just slightly different in every continuity. G1 Starscream of the War Academy, meet Animated Starscream. Prime Starscream, the self-taught scientist say hello to Movie Starscream (Bay or 1985(?).)
IX. Optimus Prime is a graduate of the underground gladiator circuit.
X. Optimus Prime enjoys debating with the enemy– particularly about different creation myths – Optimus is adamant that all Cybertrons are Primus created and that every spark has a measure of some qualities from their creator. He is willing to listen to the arguments and ‘facts’ that support other methods attributed to Cybertron’s rise as a sentient species.(I just want some debate scenes with Optimus Prime as a participant and not the mediator – have fun deciding his opponents. DO NOT WANT MEGATRON against. Crack version: Megatron and Optimus agree on the issue; their second in commands, disagree vehemently).
G1)
XI. Optimus Prime is a sharp-shooter.
XII. Altered Memory chips is a typical weapon of war. When Decepticons release a bot who’s memory has been tampered with, Laserbeak is sent to watch and relay back the story the prisoner gives, because some Autobots (and Decepticons) are able to resist the modification. (the fake info can be jolted out of the processor eventually, but it takes time once the inserted memory is accepted as real).
XIII. Cliffjumper shoots first, asks questions later – it’s a glitch that his teammates have learned to live with.
XIV. The ocean is rich with micro nutrients and dissolved metals (The sea beds and floor are also full of ram materials – mostly organic stuff, but enough useable materials to make it a good mining site). Thus, the Decepticon underwater base is in a better position to spread-out, make repairs, and power-itself up than their enemies, the Autobots, stuck under a dormant volcano. What if Megaton realized this, and instead of sending raiding parties to attack human facilities, he rebuilt the Decepticon war effort right under Optimus Prime (and Telatran’s) nose?
XV. Autobots sustain their fuel levels by raiding the deposits the Decepticons have set up to fuel themselves? (The decepticons stole from the humans first, so its okay for Autobots to steal it back – and the war booty is already converted to energon, and can’t be changed back, so we’ll use it, and humans won’t have to pay protection monies).
XVI. Starscream’s Null Rays / Concussion blasts are due to his strong desire to NOT fight and kill. Starscream would much rather play in his labs than continue the war against oppressive government regimes.
XVII. Of all the fliers and Seekers, Starscream is the Air Commander because NO ONE ELSE was willing to work Under Megatron.
a. ? Report to a ground bound? Ugh.
?? As if I’d take orders from a non-flier.
??? Megatron’s got the forcefull personality to make others listen to him.
? But I am not going to be his right hand.
?? Ditto.
(modify the conversation as you wish).
XVIII. ThunderCracker is the real leader of the Elite Seeker Trine.
XIX. Reflector speaks in plural. Hound (w/holograms) also speaks in plural. Reflector’s excuse is simple: he has three bodies at times, and has no desire to separate the identities into three separate beings. (Reflector would loose his special status). Hound’s cause is not so obvious. When Hound uses holograms of himself to fool the enemy, he has trouble figuring out which version of him is real – until the light projectors are destroyed, Hound thinks all are real.
XX. Why is it none of the Autobots recognize the difference between Megatron shouting “Retreat!” and “Abandon Attack (mission accomplished)!”
XXI. Few remember this, but Seekers and other fliers were once couriers for small, delicate equipment that needed to be shipped to another city A.S.A.P. Megatron is one of the few who knows and respects them for it- assigning them the duty of making sure energon is taken directly to base (they get first pick/high grade on all piracy loot).
XXII. Hound can shoot, but he’s not a marksman or sniper – few mechs are. So, when using Attitude Extractors (during “Attack Of The Autobots”), as bullets, why is HOUND the only one firing? He’s got Ratchet, Jazz, Skyfire, and Bumblebee as back-up when they confront the rampaging Prime and others – I don’t buy the “we’ve only got enough Attitude Extractors for each reprogrammed mech, so don’t miss” excuse. AND HOUND hit Skyfire when the large shuttle was almost a mile high in the sky! So, if that’s not Transformer Sharpshooting, I don’t know what is.
a. (Can anyone give me a fic where Jazz, Ratchet, Skyfire, Bumblebee and selected others FAIL the weapons qualification test/examination?)
Please, take one? They are cute and cuddly - just ignore the sharp incisors.
I do.
