Not numbered simply because lj doesn't like numbering. There's twenty-two of them.
Perceptor as Megatron's treacherous Second In Command. Starscream as the quiet, slightly absent-minded Autobot Scientist.
The Robo-Smasher was an accident. Megatron didn't tell it to target the Constructicons, it was just… luck of the draw.
Slag/Beachcomber
TF:Ani – Barricade was a Decepticon who was captured by the Autobots. His partner, Jazz, gave himself up and agreed to work for the Autobots as long as they didn’t kill Barricade. Technically, they didn’t – but Prowl isn’t his partner, and Jazz hates him for that.
A Cybertronian Marching Band.
How did the Fallen become, well, fallen?
The war isn’t real – it’s just a play, dictating the ‘myth’ on how the world came to be how it is now.
Primus made a planet, and on this planet he placed thirteen people, who would share the responsibility of shaping their world. To twelve, he gave the ability to dream, to imagine, to hope. To one, he did not. The Thirteenth could see only darkness, could bring forth only nothingness. So that’s what he contributed to Cybertron, a race of ‘beings’ who are nothing, who unmake everyone they touch.
Prowl is a direct descendent of the Thirteenth – the Fallen.
A Cybertronian Dream-Catcher.
Four million years is a long time to be asleep, even for a species as long-lived as the Cybertronians. In fact, one would think that it would be long enough for a language shift, neh?
The Autobots discover the DigiWorld.
Jazz/Shockwave.
Blurr meets the Flash (preferably the Wally West version, but hey, not my story.)
Perceptor creates dragons. And unleashes them into their ‘natural habitats’.
Where did the idea of carving a symbol into oneself as a sign of loyalty come from?
The Tale of Beta, The Greatest Warrior.
Megatron/Dion.
Perceptor/Shockwave/Soundwave
Mirage lays down the law when somebody insults Hound due to their relationship.
Jazz is ferociously protective of his Special Ops agents. And he is Not Happy about the situation revolving around Mirage and Hound.
Ravage meets his maker (a.k.a. Ratchet.)

If flesh and blood, would he have found a way to alter DNA to create them or would he have accidentally revived an actual species that everyone only believed to be a myth? This could make an excellent crossover with any fandom that included dragons (I'm thinking DragonHeart but I bet you're thinking Pern).
If robotic, I bet he didn't tell Optimus what he was doing. Optimus would probably see them as 'no better than the Dinobots'. The Dinobots, I think, would love having little 'brothers'. But Optimus could cause a lot of problems (and why do I always see Optimus as the bad guy in Dinobot fics?).
As for releasing them to their natural habitat... Maybe the Dracobots (Dragonbots?) could temporarily share Dinobot island? And the flesh and blood ones would spread out all over the world.
Or he could make both!
Where did the idea of carving a symbol into oneself as a sign of loyalty come from?
I read a fic once where it started as the Quintessons branding their slaves (Product logos) and eventually, after chasing the Quintessons off, it became a symbol to remind them of where they came from (or something). But after a while it just became associated with different models and the true origin was lost. Then when the war started, since most war builds were Decepticons, they chose that as their symbol and it became a sign of loyalty to the Decepticons. Same thing with the Civilian logo and the Autobots. I think. It's been a while since I read it... and it was boring so I didn't read the whole thing. Someone needs to come up with a new reason. Like... like Optimus and Megatron went through a rebellious stage in their youth and got engravings and later decided to use them as symbols of their factions in an attempt to forgot the actual (stupid) reason they got them. And because they really did need symbols for their factions.
*suddenly imagines Optimus and Megatron sitting at a desk, discussing possible symbols* *giggles*
Megatron/Dion
I want to see this. Because, well, it's Dion.
Perceptor/Shockwave/Soundwave
*loves* This would go great with my 'Perceptor is trapped in an arranged marriage' bunny.
Jazz is ferociously protective of his Special Ops agents.
Hmmm. He's protective of Mirage and one day decides to give Hound the Shovel speech! *wants to see this*

Date: 2008-07-30 10:45 pm (UTC)I was actually thinking flesh and blood, with the DNA thing, because 'Ceptor's just awesome like that. Pern takes place several thousand years in the future on another world, so I'm still not sure how to work a crossover for it. *is sad*
Robots would be good too, though. Dracobots! They'd need a mountain...
*on the symbol thing*
I rather like the explanation in Living With Autobots, Chapter 7.
*finds the image of the leaders debating over symbols hysterical*
I want to see this. Because, well, it's Dion.
Do Want!

*cackles*

Date: 2008-07-31 05:52 am (UTC)Well... The Ark and Nemesis can't have been the only ships to ever crash, now can they? *thinks* A mere single vorn after the Ark disappears, another ship, containing Perceptor, is sent off in search. And somehow crash lands on the world of Pern (I'm assuming Pern is a rather old world, so even if the books take place thousand of years in the future...) They eventually wake up, meet the dragons... and after several adventures involving the creation of a new species of dragon as well as the creation of the Dracobots, they manage to contact Cybertron, who informs them the Ark has been found. They then use a space bridge or shuttle to travel to Earth.
... How's that?
And the Dracobots could have the top half of the volcano?
I rather like the explanation in Living With Autobots, Chapter 7.
I need to read that again. I forgot that fic explained it.
*finds the image of the leaders debating over symbols hysterical*
*wishes someone would draw that*

Family Member/Friend: *holds out a shovel* "This is a shovel. If you ever even think of harming them, I will use this shovel to beat you to death and then I will use it to bury you."
That's more or less what it is. The ones I remember reading are so much better but I don't feel like hunting for one.
