More random quotes from all over the place, a lot of lyrics, and of course, more stuff from the Transformers wiki.
1. Voice actor Michael Chain has stated that he based his characterization of Red Alert on former U.S. President Richard Nixon, a man so incredibly paranoid that he kept secret audio recordings of himself. Red Alert takes notes from Nixon, and others, to become a better Security Chief.
2. “In the Dreamwave Generation 1 comics, when showing the panel through the eyes of many Cybertronians, Autobot and Decepticon alike, twisted text along the side of the shot, oftentimes reversed or flipped around, would read "The More Than Meets The Eye Transformer Red Alert". While other messages were often used, sometimes as Easter Eggs, this was the most popular. The Girl Scouts must have been planning this for years.” I now want to see something where Red gets it into his twisted little CPU that the Girl Scouts are more dangerous than the ‘Cons and are out to rule the world. It’s the cookies. XD I’d also be happy to answer questions about Scouts for anyone who adopts this.
3. Since it’s so common for someone to rewrite their own programming and coding (much in the sense of training to become better kind of modification, not the illegal kind), someone gets tired of how slow humans and other organics evolve and how long it takes for something to be accepted universally in their genes, so they decide to do some genetic altering/experiments.
4. The magnetic field of Earth starts to reveres, causing needles to point south instead of north, at first it’s in random patches across the globe for thousands of years before it stabilizes. Bet that causes a lot of frustration among the Transformers.
5. Perceptor attempts to find absolute zero.
6. Special abilities (like echolocation) in nature is often better than their technological counterpart.
7. There are many Transformers with the same name, it’s about time they all meet each other. Holy frag, there’s a lot of Prowls.
8. In IDW comic continuity Squawkbox exists before Combiner technology has become available to either faction. This means that either Squawkbox is the core being and he's later split into Squawktalk and Beastbox or um... someone at IDW screwed up.
So, what would it be like for a spark to be split long after creation into two distinct individuals? Also, if a spark can be split that means it can be meshed together, too. So, what would happen if someone decides that the logical way to end the war it so combine the spark of a severely glitched or psychotic mech with a much more balanced one? And how exactly would they go about deciding who was glitched and who was balanced?
9. Every household in America has at least one Nosecone toy somewhere. Check your couch cushions.
Alright people, you heard ‘em, go check your cushions for a lost Autobot.
10. What happens when you cross-breed Starscream and Shockwave. Logical and Psychopathic.
From Strafe’s wiki profile. So, any other younger bots that may be the product of crossbreeding?
11. In the hardcover Movie Guide it is noted that Ratchet is one of the few Autobots that could conceivably give Megatron a decent fight one-on-one before being dismembered and fed upon.
Again, a wiki profile, Movie Ratchet’s this time. And honestly? I laughed my aft off. Now, I really want to see this happen. Or better yet, the reason why Ratchet's able to face Megatron as an equal while most other bots couldn't.
12. "I could kill but I can't die. Ever lasting life is mine."
T-4 Strain; Spawn Soundtrack
13. A compiled list of songs about the sun to annoy the ever living pit out of Sunstreaker.
14. Only forgiveness will finally end this, there won’t be a witness if we both fall. There’s never a hero in a battle of ego, there’s never a winner of the quick draw.
Wild West Show; Big and Rich
15. Tired of how everyone thinks science is boring, the brainiacs decide to randomly ‘borrow’ mechs and show them how fun science can be. Would be great if both ‘Bot and ‘Cons decided to do it at the same time, not knowing that their counterparts were doing the same exact thing they were.
16. Movie/G1. Megatron and Skyfire share a bonding moment about being trapped in ice for so long.
Meg: "Do you know how frustrating it is to have the one thing in the universe you are after only a room away form you? And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it while all these nasty little insects crawl all over you.
Sky: "That would be frustrating, true. But at least that particular bit was only for a few human decades. Imagine being trapped in that same spot for a few million stellar cycles."
Meg: "Alright, you got me there."
17. After encountering one too many cassetticons, someone finally decides to fix Soundwave.
18. Every society has their superheroes, so what are the Cybertronian ones?
19. Gollum’s Song from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers soundtrack.
Where once was light, now darkness falls.
Where once was love, love is no more.
Don't say goodbye.
Don't say I didn't try.
These tears we cry,
Are falling rain
For all the lies you told us,
The hurt, the blame.
And we will weep
To be so alone.
We are lost,
We can never go home.
So in the end,
I'll be what I will be,
No loyal friend,
Was ever there for me.
Now we say goodbye,
We say you didn't try.
These tears you cry,
Have come too late.
Take back the lies,
The hurt, the blame.
And you will weep
When you face the end alone.
You are lost,
You can never go home.
You are lost, you can never go home...
20. Minds think alike- “A pack doesn’t leap because it’s told- a pack leaps because every individual, all at once, decides to leap.”
21. There's the training recruits in the military go through where they eat insects, worms and other creatures many wouldn't touch let alone put in their mouth. So, what's the Transformers version of this training?
22. In nature, baby animals tend to have different colors than what they’d have as an adult in order to better hide themselves from predators. So, what would the camouflage of a sparkling look like? How would their appearance change as they grew older?
23. "Scientists are passionate about their work, they cannot not do it."
24. One of the science mechs get bored, and after finding about the new discoveries from Madagascar dinosaur fossils, most importantly the soft tissue, they decide to see if they can make a real life Jurassic Park.
25. Imagine coming into the world with a person so like yourself that for a time you don’t understand mirrors.
26. 96 % if the universe is made of stuff we don’t know, one of the Transformers decides to remedy that.
27. "What does it take to spook a psychopath?"
28. The Transformers land on an Earth that is a little different than depicted in the shows. Over time, all the western continents have developed as normal, the Americas, however are a little different. The Native Americans grew up in a land of dinosaurs, domesticating many as their mounts, like the Europeans have horses. Some have even managed to train Nanotyrannus as their hunting partners.
29. As wonderful as it is to be a Seeker it must be beyond frustrating and incredibly difficult to distinguish yourself from the rest of your brothers. After all, there's only around a few million bots with the same build as you.
30. Can a Transformer be hypnotized, if so how?
31. “Let me show you how to release your inner mad scientist.”
32. Many don’t like going into Ratchet’s office because of how it’s decorated. Mainly all the fuel pumps, empty helms/cranium casings, examples of dissection, and other medical paraphernalia disturbs the ever living slag out of them. Stares at skull in bedroom. Really, what's so bad about having body parts laying around your home?
33. TF:TM It must have drove their partners past the point of insanity, able to feel their bond mates, very faintly, over their link, knowing they’re alive. Yet, everyone says they have died, and as the years turn into millennia, they’re not sure what to believe anymore.
34. Abominus (Terrocons), Piranacon (Seacons) and Predaking (Predacons) would like to remind everyone that they’re gestalts too and that they’re feeling a bit lonely. And tired of floating around a writer's head who has no ideas for them.
35. "The world changes so fast that you couldn't stay wrong all the time if you tried."
36. Considering that Metroplex is a giant sentient Transformer, how exactly does one keep things private while in him? Is he able to feel all that’s going on in and around him?
37. Art. The insides of everyone’s personal quarters. We’ve seen Prowl’s from Animated, time the others shared their rooms as well. From all verses.
38. "Show me a hero, and I’ll show you a tragedy."
39. The reason Brawn is always giving Perceptor a hard time is because he's Percy's creator.
40. Rewind and Skydive are the studious ones of their brothers, with a deep love for books and knowledge, something their brothers don't really understand. So, they decide for mutual sanity and for the fact that they really need someone they can geek out with, to have a weekly book night just for them.
41. "With each passing day, the world finds new and exciting ways to kill a man." - Balthier
42. "A man is not drunk so long as he can hold onto a blade of grass and not fall off of the earth." Or in this case, a mech is not drunk so long as he can magnetize himself to the floor (or any other metallic surface) and not fall off the planet they're on.
DrunkBot#1: "Dude, you're so drunk *hic**points at mech above him* you sticking to tha ceiling."
DrunkBot#2: "Na, me not. You the one s'drunk. S'me on the floor you one on the ceiling. *giggle* Ev'rythings topsy turvy."
SoberBot#3: *hands on hips**growls* "The both of you are cratered off your afts. No get to your quarters before you're sent to the bring. And for Primus' sake, get off the walls!"
43. If there was something so deeply etched into programming and spark that it was a part of a mech no matter how they felt, would there be a way to change that aspect of them without irreversibly harming themselves? "It’s in his programming and spark, and is not something he can truly get away from, even if he wanted to."
44. There's a few reasons why Reflector's so frightened of Soundwave; for ages now, the cassette host has been trying to convince Reflector to become a full fledged cassette. It's getting to the point where the Comm officer is willing to use any means necessary to add the cameras to his collection.
45. Unknown to everyone except Soundwave, Reflector is actually one of his cassettes.
46. Many are surprised when they find Perceptor looking over elementary grade notes and books. He explains that he may be intelligent but if you don't know/can't remember the basics, you might as well not even try to experiment. This is after watching Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader and getting more wrong than I feel comfortable admitting.
47. The spiritual path is not one that leads to some blinding light into which all of our troubles are dissolved. Rather, it is a path that leads to finding the light within and shining out into our world.
48. Could go with bunny about each Cybertronian having four different names. A common belief was that to know something or someone's true name was to have power over it or the person. To name something was to make it your own.
49. A very feminine looking femme that is actually a mech, and a very masculine looking mech that is actually a femme. Because confusing humans is so much fun.
50. After a long mission in which a group of mechs uses camouflage paint to go undercover as a bunch of the opposite faction that they're holding prisoner, decide they like the life they're living under these false, taken, identities. Now they just need to figure out how to make the change permanent and what to do with the originals.

Date: 2008-09-15 03:54 am (UTC)Y-you had Technobots up there. You had technobots up there. I...I...wow...
I think you broke my brain from glee.
And I like Seacons! I actually think Nautilator is completely adorable. (Most of this stems from my brain associating him with Fireflight. A lot. *innocent whistles*)
27. "What does it take to spook a psychopath?"
Depending on the type of psychopath I can think of many. And it's not pretty.
31. “Let me show you how to release your inner mad scientist.”
...^_______^ the truly terrifying thing on the planet.
17. After encountering one too many cassetticons, someone finally decides to fix Soundwave.
*sporfles* oh, that'll go over like a lead balloon I'm sure.
Skyfire wins! (I see this as being ridiculously adorable, and then someone walks in, and the two get cranky embarassed. Adorable.)
23. "Scientists are passionate about their work, they cannot not do it."
I don't know why but I really, really like that quote.
20. Minds think alike- “A pack doesn’t leap because it’s told- a pack leaps because every individual, all at once, decides to leap.”
I keep thinking 'gestalt'...*hangs head*

Date: 2008-09-15 05:38 am (UTC)That, and I'd really like to see some random mech going up to their combined form, Computron and asking him what love is.
I can see how Nautilator would be like Fireflight, the both of them are rather clumsy, and might do better with a change in alt mode. Though I'm a bit more fond of Seawing.
Out of the other gestalts, I like the Predacons with Divebomb being one of my favorites. How can you not like one of the happiest homicidal birds you'll ever meet?
27. Ya, all of the things I was coming up with were pretty dark, too. Not much can spook someone like than other than something even worse. Unless you can somehow figure out what one of their fears are, then it might not be so bad on society as a whole.
31. You know, I was just thinking, why is the most terrifying yet cutest thing in the world a happy go lucky mad scientist?
17. I just want to see the part where a group of mechs are together and scheming on how to go about fixing Soundwave. Of course, with Soundwave being a telepath, it's not going to stay a secret for long, but he'd probably let them carry on for a while simply because he's bored.
20. Don't worry, I first thought of gestalt too. But it could also apply to trines or other groups of closely related mechs.

Date: 2008-09-15 02:29 pm (UTC)I think it has to do with when they were introduced. I don't know when the Seacons came in, but the Predacons and Technobots are both season 3 characters, and if there's one thing I know about this fandom, a lot of people dislike season 3 of G1 animated.

Date: 2008-09-15 04:30 am (UTC)This has the potential to be incredibly dramatic. Like, he becomes obsessed with finding it, but when he does, it basically (in most senses of the word) kills him. Oy.
13. A compiled list of songs about the sun to annoy the ever living pit out of Sunstreaker.
Only Sideswipe would dare! Maybe Tracks or Jazz, too, but you can bet Sideswipe will keep it going long after the other two get bored of it.
17. After encountering one too many cassetticons, someone finally decides to fix Soundwave.
There's a comic page similar to this idea somewhere on deviantart... I wish I remembered what it was called...
18. Every society has their superheroes, so what are the Cybertronian ones?
*Thinks* Do they have an equivalent to Captain Planet? Who are his planeteers!? *Laughs uncontrollably*
48. Could go with bunny about each Cybertronian having four different names. A common belief was that to know something or someone's true name was to have power over it or the person. To name something was to make it your own.
FOUR!? Isn't two or three enough? Nonetheless, I love this!
49. A very feminine looking femme that is actually a mech, and a very masculine looking mech that is actually a femme. Because confusing humans is so much fun.
Yes, yes it is. I nominate Firestar and Ultra Magnus, who can't deal with the humans' confusion now. Yes.

Date: 2008-09-15 06:14 am (UTC)13. Sideswipe would be the only one to carry it on because he wouldn't be pummeled quite as bad as the others. Or Skywarp or one of the other 'Con pranksters could do it. Maybe the cassettes?
17. Is it Soundwave Likes Babies? (http://smirkierthanthou.deviantart.com/art/Soundwave-Likes-Babies-81208976) Or am I completely wrong?
18. Hound. And Beachcomber. I don't know who else, and now I'm upset at you for making me actually think on who would be the best mech for each spot. Primus, I haven't seen that show in years. Although it could be worse, they could be Sailor Scouts.
48. The four names aren't my idea, and I greatly applaud anyone who can come up with four names for just a handful, let alone all of them. It'd be neat to be able to command someone simply because you know their true name.
49. Got the idea from the one fic where Arcee was actually a mech but they had to put him in a femme's body when he got too damaged. It was great.

Date: 2008-09-15 03:48 pm (UTC)We're really that close? *Is amazed* I'm awful at science, but I really respect that kinda thing, even if I don't get it.
13. Sideswipe would be the only one to carry it on because he wouldn't be pummeled quite as bad as the others. Or Skywarp or one of the other 'Con pranksters could do it. Maybe the cassettes?
Skywarp would get away with it simply cos he can warp away, and Rumble and Frenzy (can't see any other cassettes doing this) have Sounders to protect them. I still think Sideswipe is the best candidate!
17. Is it Soundwave Likes Babies? Or am I completely wrong?
YES! Thanks so much for telling me! Now I can go find it!
18. Hound. And Beachcomber. I don't know who else, and now I'm upset at you for making me actually think on who would be the best mech for each spot. Primus, I haven't seen that show in years. Although it could be worse, they could be Sailor Scouts.
Oh, c'mon - it's a funny thought and you know it. (Sorry... but I didn't want to be alone with such an insane thought!)
49. Got the idea from the one fic where Arcee was actually a mech but they had to put him in a femme's body when he got too damaged. It was great.
I think I read that! It was titled after a RHPS song, yes?

Date: 2008-09-16 02:07 am (UTC)Yup, there's like, just a few molecules of heat that are standing between scientists and absolute zero. I love science, I was one of those kids who actually thought those educational shows you had to watch in schools were entertaining. That, and Action Chem class where the majority of the work was lab work add to the fact that my teacher was one of those 'I'm not really supposed to show you this, but I'm gonna anyway,' that made it so much fun.
Skywarp would get away with it simply cos he can warp away, and Rumble and Frenzy (can't see any other cassettes doing this) have Sounders to protect them. I still think Sideswipe is the best candidate!
You know, they could ALL ganging up on poor Sunstreaker together. After all, you know our little Sunny tends to be an aft to everyone and they may have finally got fed up with his attitude so they decided a bit of revenge or something was in order.
YES! Thanks so much for telling me! Now I can go find it!
No problem, Soundwave is one of the mechs that I'm absolutely obsessed with. Ratchet being the other.
Oh, c'mon - it's a funny thought and you know it. (Sorry... but I didn't want to be alone with such an insane thought!)
I'm not upset so much because of the thought, but because I haven't seen it in so long that I can barely remember anything. And you're not the only one with such an insane thought, after all, we're all a little mad around here.
I think I read that! It was titled after a RHPS song, yes?
Honestly? I have no clue what it was titled after, I'm horrible at remembering names and titles and the like, but it does sound right.

If they weren't on opposite sides of the war, I'm sure Sideswipe would get along with Skywarp, Rumble, and Frenzy.
No problem, Soundwave is one of the mechs that I'm absolutely obsessed with. Ratchet being the other.
Soundwave is my favourite Decepticon, so you aren't alone there, either! (I especially love the convenient placement of his buttons, if you know what I mean. So much potential for crack!)
I'm not upset so much because of the thought, but because I haven't seen it in so long that I can barely remember anything.
Here were the basics of the Planeteers (A crash course, if you will):
Kwame - Earth - the token black/peacemaker of the group. (So... Jazz?)
Wheeler - Fire - the impulsive, streetwise one (I'm thinking Sideswipe. Or not.)
Linka - Wind - Wheeler's love interest, kind of bitchy, Communist (A 'con. Maybe Starscream, since he's the closest they have to a femme.)
Gi - Water - the smart/calm girl (Arcee?)
Ma-Ti - Heart - the kid. (Bumblebee!)
And Captain Planet. Who had a mullet. XD

Date: 2008-09-16 04:43 am (UTC)Loved Bill Nye as a kid, and now he has his own show again. Alas, I can't watch it since I no longer have cable.

*snicker* There's probably a lot of in jokes among the 'Con ranks about his buttons. (Quit playing with yourself. Particularly everytime he presses the eject button.) Plus his voice is awesome, could listen to it all day. Though now I want to know what would happen if you were to play with his buttons while one, or more, of his cassettes were in there. It's also common, from what I've seen, that his buttons are as sensitive to him as wings are to a Seeker.
Planeteers
Pretty much agree with all accounts, though maybe Fire is Hot Rod? Ah yes, the green mullet, can never forget that.

There was a DA comic kinda like this too! XD

Mmm, yes. My friends make fun of me for thinking it is a sexy voice. (Though it is my fault, for saying things like "I'd do him out of curiosity alone". I was kidding!)
Though now I want to know what would happen if you were to play with his buttons while one, or more, of his cassettes were in there. It's also common, from what I've seen, that his buttons are as sensitive to him as wings are to a Seeker.
Blaster did so in "Carnage in C Minour", and Sounders was not too happy with such a violation. Then again, most Transfans tend to eliminate that episode from their personal canon. (Personally, it cracks me up. So many unintentional innuendoes!)
Pretty much agree with all accounts, though maybe Fire is Hot Rod? Ah yes, the green mullet, can never forget that.
Actually, Hot Rod does make more sense. And the mullet was awesome. Don't disrespect the mullet. XD

Date: 2008-09-15 02:49 pm (UTC)If I recall the original bunny correctly, it was a a childhood (public) name, and Adult (public) name, a nickname and a private name.
I personally can see someone having more than one nickname in a lifetime - especially a Cybertronian lifetime - but then I used to be in the LotR fandom, where at least one Silmarillion human got at least three nicknames due to moving about a lot and staying in a number of places.
LotR also has that elves have one name given to them by their father, one by their mother, and self-chosen nicknames and nicknames given by others.

23. A good way to torture a scientist would be to lock him in a small room with nothing to study. And even then, you'd have to wait until they know everything there is to know about the walls, floor, and ceiling.

25. Interesting!
27. ... Boo-bah? Barney? Annoyingly cheerful and perky cheerleaders?

Date: 2008-09-16 05:10 am (UTC)A few aspects they changed were making the carnivores bloodthirsty villains, turning the sunstones into something that repels said carnivores and no other creature. The island is a utopia with no established form of government, which the series blatantly ignored. I could honestly go on and on, but it would just degenerate into a long rant that I'd rather not bother you with.
What really makes me sad is that the small group of other Dinotopia fans I knew over the internet were not horrified by it. Even enjoying quite a few aspects of the megaseries/movie/miniseries and the subsequent short run tv series.
So as much as Dinotopia is my dream world, I reject all film associated with it violently.

20. I love that quote. Who said it?
Actually, I have no clue whatsoever, it's one of those quotes you just randomly happen to run into over the Internet.
23. A good way to torture a scientist would be to lock him in a small room with nothing to study. And even then, you'd have to wait until they know everything there is to know about the walls, floor, and ceiling.
I don't know who I feel more sorry for; the scientist or the guard. After all, the poor guard will not only learn more than he ever wanted to about that particular room, but whatever else happens to pop up in the scientists mind. Also, the scientist could start experimenting with the guard, seeing how long and what it takes to make each one crack.
27. ... Boo-bah? Barney? Annoyingly cheerful and perky cheerleaders?
Well, I'm not a psychopath, yet my knee-jerk reaction to those particular...things, is to use them as target practice.
28. Like in Dinotopia? I want to see!
Something like it, only where it was just the Americas that evolved with Dinosaurs while the rest of the world developed as normal. The part I remember the most is the Indian warriors scoffing at the Europeans riding abilities, since riding a horse was vastly different from riding a Parasaurolophus. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasaurolophus) Unfortunately I haven't finished it since I'm easily distracted and that whenever I stumble upon a new series you can be guaranteed that it'll be only the third book I can find. Or if it's the first, then I can only find the third and not the second after wards.

Starscream.
13. A compiled list of songs about the sun to annoy the ever living pit out of Sunstreaker.
Just put "You Are My Sunshine" on repeat.
19. Gollum’s Song from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers soundtrack.
For some reason, I'm thinking Megatron here. (P.S. Love that song.)
33. TF:TM It must have drove their partners past the point of insanity, able to feel their bond mates, very faintly, over their link, knowing they’re alive. Yet, everyone says they have died, and as the years turn into millennia, they’re not sure what to believe anymore.
;_;
36. Considering that Metroplex is a giant sentient Transformer, how exactly does one keep things private while in him? Is he able to feel all that’s going on in and around him?
I imagine he doesn't have cameras or audio recievers in private quarters - just in public areas, and at least three times as many in restricted areas (the areas that are his inner workings, like his brain chamber and his spark chamber).
41. "With each passing day, the world finds new and exciting ways to kill a man." - Balthier
... Is that Balthier Bunansa?
43. If there was something so deeply etched into programming and spark that it was a part of a mech no matter how they felt, would there be a way to change that aspect of them without irreversibly harming themselves? "It’s in his programming and spark, and is not something he can truly get away from, even if he wanted to."
... *Looks sideways at Magnus muse.*
44. There's a few reasons why Reflector's so frightened of Soundwave; for ages now, the cassette host has been trying to convince Reflector to become a full fledged cassette. It's getting to the point where the Comm officer is willing to use any means necessary to add the cameras to his collection.
Hoo boy... that just bunnied me in turn! Look for a bunny post derived from this!
48. Could go with bunny about each Cybertronian having four different names. A common belief was that to know something or someone's true name was to have power over it or the person. To name something was to make it your own.
I'm trying to figure out how True Names could work for robots... maybe they are something so deeply ingrained in their most basic programming (the stuff hardwired into them) that if someone else knows it, they can basically control the whole of that mech's programming.
49. A very feminine looking femme that is actually a mech, and a very masculine looking mech that is actually a femme. Because confusing humans is so much fun.
Arcee and Springer.

..Oh, Primus, I can just imagine what would happen if Red met the JLU version of the Question.
7. There are many Transformers with the same name, it’s about time they all meet each other.
I want to see this.
Holy frag, there’s a lot of Prowls.
I thought the same thing when I saw his disambiguation page. I spent the next half-hour going through the different Prowls.
*wants to see this one, too*
17. After encountering one too many cassetticons, someone finally decides to fix Soundwave.
Ha!
18. Every society has their superheroes, so what are the Cybertronian ones?
Ooh. What if they adopt some of our superheroes? *imagines a giant robot version of Booster Gold, with Skeets as his minicon partner* ... *is totally going off here*
*ponders*I wonder what they'd think of the Metal Men? ...Crap, I didn't need a new bunny. *adds to list*
25. Imagine coming into the world with a person so like yourself that for a time you don’t understand mirrors.
I immediately thought of Sunsreaker and Sideswipe when I read this. Even though they don't look exactly alike, I could see them using each other as "mirrors", telling the other if there's some thing on their face, or they missed a spot cleaning and the like.
Frenzy and Rumble could work here too, come to think of it...
37. Art. The insides of everyone’s personal quarters. We’ve seen Prowl’s from Animated, time the others shared their rooms as well. From all verses.

I thought the same thing when I saw his disambiguation page. I spent the next half-hour going through the different Prowls.
G1!Prowl even has his own fanboy in the shape of a fellow crime fighting Autobot. Wish I knew his name so I could link his profile. He's even gone so far as to change his appearance to the point that he looks almost like Prowl's twin.
I immediately thought of Sunsreaker and Sideswipe when I read this.
They're who I had in mind when posting this, particularly where they use each other as mirrors. Since I got the idea from a show about twins, and when one of the little girls was young she'd point at the mirror and say it was her sister.

13. A compiled list of songs about the sun to annoy the ever living pit out of Sunstreaker.
There's a similar one in my idea list. But it was for either faction, any vain bot, and used one song. 'What's Your Name' (http://www.imeem.com/mozislove/music/6sSrvQbO/depeche_mode_whats_your_name/) by Depeche Mode was the song I'd chosen.
20. Minds think alike- “A pack doesn’t leap because it’s told- a pack leaps because every individual, all at once, decides to leap.”
You have no idea how much I love this.
24. One of the science mechs get bored, and after finding about the new discoveries from Madagascar dinosaur fossils, most importantly the soft tissue, they decide to see if they can make a real life Jurassic Park.
28. The Native Americans grew up in a land of dinosaurs, domesticating many as their mounts, like the Europeans have horses. Some have even managed to train Nanotyrannus as their hunting partners.
If this were to really happen I would die of happiness. I have a Dinosaur obsession, since before I could walk even. *happily adopts bunny* It's funny, the second one has a similar feel to an epic-long original story I've been trying to write for the last four years.
32. Stares at skull in bedroom. Really, what's so bad about having body parts laying around your home?
I have no idea, people seem to get upset at the oddest things. It's not like they can be hurt by the dead. *Looks at own collection of skulls, bones, and teeth lining the windowsill.*

Date: 2008-09-16 03:08 am (UTC)*snicker* Oh, god, Soundwave would ban that song so fast, heads would spin. That song's already giving me a headache, I can only imagine what someone with such sensitive hearing as him would make of it. Now I wonder about the songs that would annoy Blaster and Soundwave to the Pits and back.
You have no idea how much I love this.
It was one of those sayings that sort of just latched onto me when I heard it. Mainly 'cause I'm really tired of people using wolves and other pack oriented creatures as the bad guys in stories. Or just bashing them because of said pack instincts.
I have a Dinosaur obsession, since before I could walk even. *happily adopts bunny*
I, too, have have a huge obsession with dinosaurs. Was introduced to Dinotopia through a lovely hardcover book in elementary school, fell in love with them and never looked back since. Now I really need to reread it again. As soon as I can find it. And Raptor Red. And I completely spazzed when Jurassic Park came out. Was sad when parents said I couldn't remodel my room into a miniature version of the park.
And I spazzed even more when I read about the soft tissue found in the fossils. They were actually able to identify the bones as a female who was getting ready to lay a clutch of eggs. The bones were so differently preserved that there wasn't a lot of difference between them and some bones you'd find in you own backyard.
I have no idea, people seem to get upset at the oddest things. It's not like they can be hurt by the dead. *Looks at own collection of skulls, bones, and teeth lining the windowsill.*
They do, don't they? Which makes me appreciate the cathedral made out of human bones even more. Luckily my family and most of my friends are accustomed to the fact, since most are hunters, and so are quite use to body parts lying about the house. Or yard, in the case of larger game. But it's still amusing to make people jump when they see a skull staring at them from next to the TV. Or when you're six years old and coming home from an auction, proudly displaying the cat jaw bone you found in the barn while playing with a bunch of other random bored kids.

Date: 2008-09-16 06:55 am (UTC)There is so much story potential for unity, loyalty and family with pack animals, that it's such a shame hardly anybody realizes this. I think that having a pack would be one of the most wonderful things in the world.
I, too, have have a huge obsession with dinosaurs.
A fellow fan! Three for three! *spazzes* And an entire week must have gone by before I began to calm down from from hearing about that tyrannosaur thigh-bone.
Or when you're six years old proudly displaying the cat jaw bone you found
Excuse me while I go "Awwww".
