Oh dear I've gone all Sciency
Hey Guys. I've being exploring Science and Psychology and these bunnies were heavily inspired by them.
1. During the mind alterating process something went wrong with Scavenger’s alterations. His CPU was ravaged with a virus wiping all but a few of his memories. Now he has the mind of a Sparkling. (Or replace with ‘Structie of your choice. *coughHookcough*)
2. Soundwave and Blaster are Hemaphrodites. Neither male or female. The Cassettes are the result of self-insemination (Autogamy) and their size is the result of this rare form of reproduction.
3. The entire Cybertron race are sequential hermaphrodites, capable of changing gender as and when is required for the survival of the species.
A. Cybertron is a Matriarchal society. All Primes are female. So although Orion Pax was male when he became Optimus Prime, he then became, she. This has left things rather awkward in the relationship between Prime and Elita-1.
B. It bothers the Decepticons that Megatron has not gone through with the change. It just isn’t right for them to be lead by a mech. Yet for some reason Megatron has refused the sex change.He fancies female Prime.
4. Without Vector Sigma/Allspark anymore (choose your Universe) there is no more possible Transformers. That is until a dormant programme activates and suddenly they are capable of self producing. Cue lots of desperate questions to the Humans.
What’s a period? Why am I getting hot flashes? Why do I overheat when I see ____? What’s does ‘In Heat’ and ‘Breeding season’ mean? What is that thing that came out of my lubricating unit? IT’S MOVING!!!
5. Parthenogenesis; Asexual reproduction where the female can produce eggs without the need for Fertilisation. Often the species remains as a single Gender (Usually female).
I actually think this is a very plausible means of procreation in Transformers. We can disregard the gender thing with them I think, due to their non-organic and generally considered genderless nature.
A. Despite being in the thick of their ages long war, a canon character‘s mate had a vision. One wherein they foresaw their own death. Not wishing to leave their mate alone, they give ’birth’ to their eggs.
B. Perceptor is sterile. His eggs are dead inside of him. Or so he thought. When he starts getting ill, Ratchet tells him they are the cause. His body is telling him he needs to expel their dead weight or risk the infection that killed them to spread to his own body. Perceptor agrees.
During the operation though, Ratchet discovers he wasn’t entirely correct. Yes, the dead eggs were causing him to be sick, but no they weren’t the only cause. One is still alive and was desperately trying to survive.
B.1. Perceptor is left with a devastating decision. The egg is very, very weak. He must choose whether to take the 1-100 chance of it surviving or to choose euthanasia.
B.2. Perceptor is told and then freaks out, becoming a savage over-protective parent. He hoards the egg and threatens anyone (including Ratchet) who dares come near it. (He can be talked around or the eggs dies whilst in his ‘care’)
B.3 Perceptor shuts down. He can’t and won’t believe the egg is alive. He refuses to even acknowledge it. Fear of it dying preventing him from connecting with it.
6. Cybertronian’s are ‘born’ with a dual spark. But this secondary consciousness is so deeply seated, that it has no true self identity. It is but an intricate part of the individual. This is Anima/Animus.
A. Twins are the result of the separation between the individual and it’s Anima/Animus. Usually one twin is dominant over the other. (Submissive 99% would have been the inner spark.) Due to this, neither one has an Anima/Animus and so in order to remain balanced they must stay together.
(And also because the Anima/Animus is not even truly recognised, the cause of Twins being born is unknown.)
A.1 Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are separated during the war. Without their other half the balance is tipped. Sunstreaker becomes a strange combination of clingy and extra brutal. Sideswipe, as the Submissive twin, shows signs of mass depression and disinterest in life.
A.2 (For fun) The Anima/Animus is the opposite gender of the ’host’. So for Rumble and Frenzy the big question is. Whose the girl? Cue lots of arguments.
‘I’m not a Femme!’
‘Come on Bro… I mean sis. Eeenie Meenie does not lie.’
B. In Fanon, Thundercracker often has voices talking in his head. What if those voices/voice was his Anima exerting individuality on it’s host?
C. CounterPunch is Punch’s Anima. Female Anima.
D. The personality of the combined form of a Gestalt, is the amalgamation of the Anima/Animus of the members. The Gestalts limited intelligence is due to the limitations of capacity and experience of the anima/Animus in it’s normal form.
E. The Dinobots are completely unique. Due to their unique creation there was never a dual spark. They are their OWN Anima/Animus. Which if the Autobots understood, would explain the Dinobots rather simplistic and straight-forward approach to life.
7. Using Jung Typology/Socionics /MBTI /KTS on Transformers.

Because while looking up Analytical Psychology I found the list of types and couldn’t help thinking of the Transformers.

8. The Transformers bring to Earth an alien bacteria, common on Cybertron but an unknown on Earth. It causes some serious physical problems with the native Organics of Earth, including humans.
9. In the time of Beast Wars, the Transformers were used to the CR Chamber to take care of more complex damage. Alas this means their medical knowledge is woefully lacking. And the creators of the CR chamber have long been replaced by mere mechanics who only truly know how to fix them rather then how to make them.
10. Movieverse. When Frenzy ‘died’ his spark jumped into the supercomputer highway. All of the information was corrupting his Spark so Frenzy had to quickly find a body to inhabit or be disintegrated into the systems. Now he is stuck (permanently) in a Japanese Robo dog.

12. AU King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
Sir Ultra Magnus (Lancelot) has taken a shine to the King’s Wife, Elita-1 (Guinevere). And the begin an affair under the nose of King Optimus (Arthur) whilst he is preoccupied with protecting his kingdom from the Evil Megatron (Mordred)
With any Autobots of your choice as the Knights.

13. Whilst doing a Geological Survey of the Earth’s Crust, Beachcomber comes across the Lost World.
14. BeastWars/G1 AU
Waspinator stayed behind on Earth but got himself trapped under a landslide. One day not long after the crash in G1, his body was unearthed during an exploration of a strange but familiar Cybertron signature. Now questions are being asked. Who was he? What exactly was he? Was he really from Cybertron? Was he the ‘missing link’? XD
15. Some of the Autobots and Decepticons had Sparklings when they left for Earth. Now that they have awoken they discover their sparklings are sparklings no more.
16. Someone (Perceptor?) hails that Dolphins are the most intellectual sentient organics on Earth.
17. For us, the complexities of how other animals communicate is beyond our full grasp. For the Autobots (and Decepticons) such barriers are not so wide due to their vaster capacity for Knowledge and speed of processor.
18. An Autobot gets the Nobel Prize.
19. Perceptor becomes fascinated by the lifespan of human beings. More so he becomes quite a student of Gerontology. Such rapid aging by Cybertron standards is quite remarkable and has him curious about the comparison of aging between each of their species.
20. When it’s a Transformers time, he/she disperses their body into space.
Now a bunch of Ornithology based Bunnies.
(And some I'm sure were subconsoiusly inspired by a bunny post a fair few back now.)
21. Starscream is so brightly coloured because he is at a mature state for a seeker and the colours help attract a mate. Sadly there is only his brothers or the coneheads as compatible to a seeker. And he certainly isn’t going to pair up with a brother. And the Coneheads are hardly desirable in his optics. Of course when the Aerialbots turn up, his limited choices suddenly expand.
A. Thundercracker is ‘sterile’ so he never got his colours.
B. Skywarp begins to notice a change as the nano’s that comprise his colouring begin to brighten his otherwise original drab ones. It’s like a girl having her first period, so naturally he goes a bit nuts.
22. Coneheads differ from Seekers in regard parenting. They follow more along the lines of a brood Parasite. They birth their eggs but abandon them to the egg nests of other Transformers. Eggs are indistinguishable from each other and so it is only when the egg hatches that parentage can be confirmed. But due to the imprinting nature of Transfomers and their Sparklings the possibility of discarding the newborn is moot. But it doesn’t mean to say the parent is happy with the situation.
(Basing on the theory that Transformers give birth to eggs)
23. Starscream’s voice may be annoying to some of us but for Transformer a higher pitched voice is considered quite sexy and appealing.
24. What if there was a flyer that was equivalent to a Hummingbird. In that they are in a perpetual state of flying.
25. Fireflight gets lost, then spots a formation of geese. Not knowing what else to do he falls in line with them.

I like that, partly because I consider Starscream's voice Not That Bad. It only gets screechy when he starts yelling.
On the other hand, I find the sound of a dial-up modem annoying, and I have once seen the Cybertronian language likened to it... so maybe if that's akin to how they speak... well, Star sounds rather sexy!
