To those of you looking at me saying something along the lines of "weren't you here just a few days ago?", the answer is yes. I was just here, and yes, I do have another 25 for you. They seemed to have slowed down now though, so maybe there will be a bit of a pause.
1. The Twilight Zone is really just Vector Prime/Primus/Unicron/Perceptor being bored.
2. In reality, it wasn't until after going through months worth of Bunny Farm posts that Perceptor developed a God complex.
3.Weird thought- What would be the Cybertronian equivalent to leg hair? Rust spots?
4. Vector Prime adopts TFA Jetstorm.
5. Pride and Prejudice- Transformers style.
6. "My spark knows who I can trust. My mind thinks it's crazy."
7. "Attention, all human personnel- Wheeljack is tinkering. I repeat, Wheeljack is tinkering. Please evacuate the premises and convene at your predesignated safe spot to await further instruction."
8. Wheeljack had long since found that the easiest way to get some alone time was to tell someone he was playing with explosives.
9. ?: ...I think I need help.
?: No, really? The voices didn't clue you in?
10. Of all the big, long words in Perceptors impressive vocabulary, 'elucidate' was his favorite.
11. Brawn/Cliffjumper is telepathic. He acts deliberately insensitive to try and cover that fact up.
12. It is said that Soundwave is telepathic, and Blaster is empathic. What if it was the other way around? That Soundwave hides his emotions just so he can deal with the influx of everyone else's, and Blaster forces extra emotion from himself to overpower the constant flow of thoughts coming in from around him.
13. Bluestreak's home and city were never destroyed. It was a fake memory, planted by Shockwave for an experiment. After he was rescued by the Autobots (among whom Prowl is a prominent member) it is revealed that Bluestreak cannot learn of the truth, or a planted failsafe activates, erases Bluestreak's most recent memories (plus a few randomly chosen from his processor) and immediately shuts Blue down in a forced stasis. There are also some other potentially nasty side effects that the medics haven't figured out. So while the science team futily tries to come up with a solution, both Bluestreak and his family/friends must stay separated, and each beleive the other to be deactivated. The Autobots, especially Prowl who has taken a still traumatized Bluestreak under his wing, are not happy with this, but are helpless to do anything about it.
14. "I refuse."
"You don't have a choice."
15. Beachcomber: Contrary to whatever you may have heard, man, I have never been high in my life.
?: Seriously?
16. It was unnerving, that he could be staring right at you, yet not even realise your existence. You never knew if he was aware of your existence at all unless he was actually talking to you.
17. It was even more unnerving when you realised that even when he was talking to you, he still wasn't completely sure whether you were really there.
18. Primus: What? I never made you. Unicron made you. I adopted you. (possibly related to the below?)
19. Primus: Unicron, brother, we need to talk.
Unicron: *bored* About what?
Primus: *sighs* It's Rodimus. He's been... Well, I think you should talk to him.
Unicron: *hmphs* Absolutely not.
Primus: Please, brother? I know you're mad still, but-
Unicron: Mad? He flew a ship through my eye!
Primus: Well, yes-
Unicron: And then he blew me up!
Primus: You did have it coming, you know.
Unircon: *seethes*
Primus: The point is, brother, he's your creation. You need to talk to him.
Unicron: *grumbles*
Primus: Please?
Unicron: ... Fine.
20. Prowl, Bluestreak, and Jazz are like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. (PB and J!)
21. Prowl and Jazz are actually two sides of the same person- not twins, separated at 'birth', but an artificially created split.
22. This is what happens when I think too hard about the whole Datsuns=Seekers thing that's been flying around lately.
Minibots ---> Datsuns ---> Seekers
The seekers, not wanting their young to get caught up in the war, hid them away. They were not pleased when a good portion of them turned up fighting for the Autobots.
22a. The Autobots don't know- the younglings would like to keep it that way.
22b. The list as I see it-
Prowl-young seeker
Bluestreak-young seeker
Smokescreen-young conehead
Bumblebee-very young seeker
Cliffjumper-very young seeker
Beachcomber-very young conehead
Cosmos-shuttle-(he's either very young, or an adult disguised as a very young shuttle)
Powerglide-adult seeker
22c. Once rescued, Skyfire asks if the war has really gone so badly that they are using soldiers so young. The Autobots are confused until he explains. The younglings are scrambling to find hiding places/excuses/something before Skyfire gets over his shock long enough to kick their collective afts.
22d. The Autobots are no longer sure if they should continue to let the younglings serve- on the one hand, a good portion of their command staff is made up of immature seekers- on the other, they are just younglings.
Bonus points if Prowl -in a Prowl-like fashion of course- sulks over the possibility of losing his job, and/or the doubt in his work due to his age.
22e. What do some of the other Autobots think of this, anyways? (my mind immediately went to Jazz, but that's my own fault, really)
23. Wheeljack does not have a single pain receptor in his entire body. This can be a problem, if something malfunctions and he doesn't realize it. (and now it sounds kind of like leprosy)
24. Visiting Human: And you weren't worried that you might, you know, get in trouble for indecent exposure? *angry*
Hot Rod: Not really. We're not all that good with the whole 'bizarre human customs' thing, are we Danno?
2 year old and very naked Danny: Nope. *grins*
Explanation: (children raised in the middle of nowhere are almost guaranteed to run around in their birthday suit at some point in their lives. In my head, Danny didn't spend all that much time with actual people, prefering the bots. Since the bots don't do the whole clothes thing, it pretty much equates to living where there aren't any people around to see you. Thus, Danny acts like a country child. End weird train of thought)
24a: VH: He's a human child!
Hot Rod: Who was raised by Autobots. What's your point?
25. Inferno: Red Alert's not allowed to screen my calls anymore.

Any and All of 22
Date: 2010-03-15 11:08 pm (UTC)Skyfire: Were you aware that there were so many seeker younglings over here?
Starscream: Yes, why the slag do you think I'm trying to take command over here? For my health?!
Skywarp: Tell him that I said that Prowl is in big trouble when I get hold of him!
Skyfire: I can hear you, you know.
Starscream: And while you're at it, tell Cliffjumper that he is grounded until his next upgrade!!
Thundercracker: Make sure Bluestreak is getting enough energon. He babbles and forgets that he was refueling.
And it continues like that while the younglings are scrambling; the three mentioned did indeed hear their creators' requests and are sort of worried that Skyfire will do exactly as they asked of him.
Re: Any and All of 22
Date: 2010-03-16 02:25 am (UTC)Prowl: You're not my superior.
Skyfire: No, but I am your guardian right now. What could have possessed you to do this?
Prowl: *sulks/mumbles* You weren't there.
*cue long argument that ends with Skyfire carting Prowl off by his scruff(bar)*
Pah, can't write Prowl, least of all under this bunny without him turning into a whiny teenager.

*laughs maniacally* Skyfire would totally do it. I can see him being that harried caregiver that has way too much on their plate but doesn't have anyone to foist it upon. Think he would call up the seekers for help sometimes?

. . . Fine. You win. Give me some time to write the crack. And you might as well join in, 21.

All I can say is LOL.

I got the idea of Gears and Brawn being very young Coneheads - that being the reason that one: they are the same model, and two: they have those round heads. I don't know what that puts Beachcomber as though, maybe some of Sanjuno's Seeker types can be borrowed.
23. Wheeljack does not have a single pain receptor in his entire body. This can be a problem, if something malfunctions and he doesn't realize it. (and now it sounds kind of like leprosy)
Now I am imagining Wheeljack having to be taught leprosy life skills (as in, the sort in the Thomas Covernant novels).

Date: 2010-03-19 01:03 am (UTC)*snerk* It makes so much sense. And after all, there's only so many planets in the universe.

Ah, there's some good ones. I couldn't remember who all the mini's were- I knew there were way more than the ones I had. I kind of arbitrarily threw Beachcomber in the Conehead category despite not really fitting well, but I like your idea much better- after all, Sanjuno's lists are much more flexible that way; or at least something similar. I also like the idea of mini's like Gear's a Brawn being Cone's, (and not 'Comber. I'm not sure what I was thinking with that now. I should know better than to be arbitrary when it comes to characters)
Now I am imagining Wheeljack having to be taught leprosy life skills (as in, the sort in the Thomas Covenant novels).
I like this idea, though I admit to getting a couple hundred pages into the first novel and putting it down in disgust. My friends love that series, but it just wasn't my type of book.

Date: 2010-03-19 04:33 am (UTC)And I know what you mean about the Thomas Covernant books, I read a fair bit of the first book, and of the first of the Second Chronicles, but I've never been able to really finish either, let alone get on with the others. For the sake of this plotbunny though, the most informative part of the series is the start of the first book anyway, since I think it has the most detail of the skills I had in mind (the constant caution of edges, constant checking of limbs for any damage).

Date: 2010-03-22 04:04 am (UTC)You're right about the important parts of the books. It would be interesting to see just how that would apply yo a Transformer- especially one like Wheeljack. Would there be extra things to check, on top of the usual 'check limbs, avoid sharp things, etc etc.' I imagine they wouldn't have to worry as much about bruising, but perhaps there are other things they would have to, well, make up for that.
