Something about late nights makes my brain go weird. It came up with this:
Transformers are sparks, yes? The body isn't truly 'alive' until the spark is added. So, basically, transformers are unstable energy beings, possessing robot shells. Sorta like the ascended, in Stargate (Or demons, possessing humans in Supernatural). That said, if you set them in a universe where exorcisms work, could your exorcise a transformer? And if you could, what would happen to the spark? could it reenter the body? Or would it 'evaporate' outside the body?
